This flying of flags malarkey

People putting flags up , outside houses ,and attached to streetlights and street furniture.

Councils flying the wrong flag over the town hall ?

What would be the flag of choice outside your house?

Obviously on this thread Pride will win by a country mile , but what about the rest ?

Seems a bit mad the Lionesses came home to 10 Downing street decked out in George Cross flags , but if the MSM are to be believed councils are removing them as fast as they can!

Neville fucked up, and has alienated himself amongst his fan base.

There's a very strong possibility those entering the pitch weren't even supporters

Absolutely. I know exactly who they are.,they're quite local but "hierarchy" of that movement

Was surprised though to see many of the 'normal' fans joining in with the chants.

It isn't good at all.

Absolutely.

Trying to "identify and label" the people misses the point.

Neville has alienated himself from some in his club, and some on a wider stage.

It was inevitable that he'd get a backlash.

All 3 of them?

It doesn't surprise me that you'd defend their actions to be honest. Though it is interesting because you were one of the more vocal on here regarding players taking the knee.

Players having an opinion about racism and protesting = baaaad, no divisive politics in football please

Fans having an opinion and stopping a game = Goooood. It's Neville's fault.

Britain First, who organised the protest, are ex BNP and openly racist. Some of their policies include repatriating British born citizens who are 2nd/3rd/4th generation immigrants.

Calling anyone a traitor is just another way of screeching and shutting down debate. It's an archaic insult that does nothing but attempt to take us backwards, it has no place in modern Britain. It's no surprise that these morons want to bring back treachery laws and imprison people who say anything 'anti British'.

Neville has alienated some in the support yes. Some also agree with him though. I'd be the first to admit that Neville's video was poorly worded and badly timed. But those disrupting a game of football and calling him a traitor over an opinion, perfectly fit his description of thick.

I'd love to take part in blacked.com type event on Jayda Fransen.

Obviously I'd be the little fat white guy wanking in the corner.

Thought they'd all gone back home.

Gary Neville has a fan base?

Even by WWays standards, that’s a remarkable comment.

Majority of Players being told to take the knee by their employers*

Fixed it for you.

Calvin Lewin didn’t do as told at the weekend. He chose to ‘stand tallI’ instead.

We don’t need to reignite the knee debate though 😁

It’s just the sheer hypocrisy that is quite funny here. Britain First were up in arms over players taking the knee, saying there should be no politics in football & that it’s supporting BLM. Booooooooooooooo

But when Neville expresses an opinion they don’t like then they go & stop a match midway through to put a flag in the pitch & force their warped opinion on everyone in attendance.

I'm expecting the Patriots to have some great efforts to "out poppy" each other this year.

And of course, the faux outrage at James Mclean, when he decides not to wear one

Can we take this to mean that you favour the latter of the two approaches? L/H White likes this.

Anti patriotism made fashionable by Auntie Beeb. Hopefully a day of reckoning is coming.

The latter one, I really don't care. It should be up to an individual if they want to wear a poppy or not, in the same way as players shouldn't be forced to take the knee, they also shouldn't be forced to wear a poppy.

Are the BBC making "anti patriotism" fashionable? - don't talk soft. Just because somebody doesn't want to hang a £2 JD Sports England flag from the nearest lamppost, or make their house or pub look fucking ridiculous, in the name of attention seeking (see below) it doesn't make them unpatriotic.

Wait till you see the fistmaster5000 remembrance edition.

Has lest we forget scribed on the sperms collection tray and jabs away at exactly the same speed as a WW1 assault rifle used in battle by our forces.

It also leaves your bum hole looking like an actual poppy.
