  • It’s a farce this cup. Great to see us scoring for fun, but it’s a farce

  • Aye. It’s absolute balls.   And then have the brass neck to tell the lower league clubs what sort of strength teams they need to play? Fuck off.

Be surprised if he's ready to play.  Same for Forrester and Osi Tutu.  They may make the bench.

Game time for

                       Miller

 Christie   Toal    Inwood   Taylor

Morley   Sharples Ahmed        Cissoko

McAtee    Dalby    Randall

Warren on the bench

Can't imagine McAtee and Randall would ever both start

McGinlay said he’d had a chat with Demps who said he was playing.

Well, we'll see, but Schooey said he will rush no-one back until they're ready. I want that to be how it works out.

.... & McAtee and Randall as a pair. Mmmm.

Why are 2 away end blocks for sale on Wanderers web site ??

Citeh can't be arsed selling them probably.  Bit like our pre-season friendly at Barrow had to be purchased on Barrow site.

As for Randall and Hopkirk McAtee playing in the same team, this is a glorified friendly against kids.  Fitness needs outweigh match formations.  As long as they are both squad members, we need them match fit.

Despite all this, I am in.

Out.

Birthday, beers, tipsy burger.

i might not even watch it on tele

The yearly reminder that we need to get out of this league.

Embarrassing

A cup that had some level of credibility for the lower leagues, until they let Prem youth teams in

I might start paying attention if we make it to the semi finals.

I didn't even enjoy that game when we battered united's kids.

Is it on Tele? Other than citeh fans wanting to watch their yoof to see who's next to go on loan then sold, can't imagine anyone else watching.

All these games are on red button

This cup is detrimental if you're half way into the season playing SAT/TUE/SAT with an injury hit squad struggling to get players out but in our case at this stage of the season it's a needed thing, we've got good players & new signings who can't even make the matchday league 18 at the minute who'll be itching for a game along with players needing valuable minutes coming off injuries. Hopefully Dalby bags a few to get off the mark, Dempsey/Taylor/Christie come through with a decent run out & some of the young lads get a chance

It's pretty much one match a week (with the exception of a match against Oldham in November) until mid-December now

aye, if Burton gets called off, we've got 3 games next month

so agree with @Deanu that this is the best, and only, opporutunity to give the fringe a decent run out any time soon

We've 20 or so outfield players fit at the minute this cup is better for minutes than kick abouts with the yoof.

Looks spot on to me. No need to play anyone from the weekend starting team. It'll easily hit the 4 player quota of players having played more than 40 EFL games with McAtee, Random, Toal and Christie.

Sheehan might get a start over Sharples Ahmed though.

Wonder if Traf will get a run out - The keeper not the poster

Its the calm before the storm looking at the fixtures from 9th Dec until the end of Jan - 12 league games plus presumably one or 2 pizza or FA Cup ties.
