Just spoke to my Dad - this year is his first season ticket since 78. He sounded like a 8 year old not 80. Not sure he'll sleep tonight!

  • Still gelling, tough game today, both sides had chances  End of the day, they're slipping, we are not. We are moving in the right direction Expecting a serious second half of the season push

It looks like Bradford have been given 4,697. I think South Stand holds 5,300? So 600 short of capacity. Maybe a few hundred empty segregation seats between there and West Stand as well. Say 1,000 in total. So, should still be able to get 27,700 or so in

Don’t think we will sell out

I don’t think we will either - if 25,500 sold then there should still be another 2,000 spaces….

We need a message from the chairman rallying call in her tank top.

We gave them another 317 taking the total to just over 5,000. Hopefully the last time we do this as demand increases on our way to the title. 😁

Disgrace really blame the board of we get beat and miss out on promotion by 3 points should have been restricted to whatever they will give us at there’s less than half .

profit above promotion

It just seems crazy to give our opponents a helping hand.

Will be first game I miss the season.

I’m genuinely gobsmacked that some folk are getting so upset about this, even more so that we would fast forward and make a forecast that this could cost us promotion!

For Gods sake, embrace the occasion, be prepared to turn your voices up, out-sing the yorkies and have a bit of faith in SS and the boys that they will rise to such an occasion.

I’m really looking forward to it

COYFWM 👏

Pretty much were I'm at really.

I get the annoyance, why would you give them a "helping hand" with so many, but I'm really looking forward to it as a good test. Let's see how we get on against a good team infront of a bumper crowd.

I fancy us to make a statement win.

Blackpool gave Stockport a full allocation last season then there chairman said never again after a partisan atmosphere.
Another place were we get a ahit allocation like the rest of the clubs in 3 quarter full stadium but instead of following suit when they come ro ours no doubt we will give them 4 to 5 k

Bolton have got better players than Bradford and will collect a comfortable 3 points. It doesn't matter how many Bradford fans there are or how good at singing their support is.

That’s because Blackpool are weak as fuck, have an inferiority complex and will make up excuses for losing big games.

Plus they don't want, and can't handle 3000+ Bolton roaming around Blackpool

I would still give the opposition reciprocal allocation when they have the capacity .
but we could be looking this season at given Bradford , Blackpool , Stockport 5k and that could be the difference points wise if we don’t win them and miss out

Plenty go without tickets so no different  better to have them in the ground from a policing point of view instead of tanked up in town

I think we do and will win but it’s going to give them a boost remember Carlisle united snd they ended up getting relegated

By the same logic:

We sell out every away game, yet have won once.

Given we have to give the home club 95% of the revenue, it's a huge cost to the club for not a lot of benefit right now.

Being MASSIVE, selling out Burton away in 15 minutes, then having to pay them 40K for the privilege of getting spanked 3-0 is a bit galling, isn't it?

Absolutely,.....if we could sell the tickets to Bolton fans, of course we should have done but since we still haven't sold out our tickets, it's a pointless argument.

We're not tinpot fucking Blackpool who prefer to have 2000 empty seats rather than sell them to away fans ( & are no doubt turning away a decent amount of money in doing so !! )

I like big away followings, it creates a big game atmosphere , & if we're scared of their fans giving them an edge when we outnumber them 4 to 1, it would show that we have some low quality fans who would rather whine & complain than support the team.

Me, I can't wait & look forward to seeing them streaming out 15 minutes before the end !!

If there was correlation between the number of away fans and results we'd be top of the away league table. We've won once in 7 and that was thanks to two goals in the 93rd minute.

I think it’ll worse than that.

Could be 7 or 8 nil this. This is where the season all falls to pieces.

Which of course is the correct answer 👏👏

Fairly routine 3-1 win, then everyone stfu about attendances 😁
