They didn't have the whole end that day either. We had plenty in the south.

I have no recollection of that game whatsover, although I was definitely there. I couldn't even tell you the result without googling it. You could tell me we won 6-0, lost 0-6, or drew 0-0 and I wouldn't question it. I think my brain has wiped the entirity of last season due to trauma from Wembley and the way it rumbled on after the summer.

I was watching the highlights last night of our game v Spurs where Campo scored from fuckin Asda and it was incredible to see how few people were there. Our attendances are miles better now in the third tier. Couldn’t have been more than 17-18k on

Wrexham, first home game last season - 25,957. Attendance against Barnsley was 23,450.

Barnsley felt just as, if not more full than v Wrexham. But again, it’s the old Tickets sold v People attended argument

As much as it pains me to say it, those folded cardboard clapping things genuinely made a difference to the atmosphere.

I agree. It was fantastic. It helped that we had that Stone Roses chant too that everyone was belting out! As loud and intimidating as the stadium has been probably since Atletico

it felt like much more of an occasion

night game, plenty fans including in the south for the first time in a long time, good atmosphere going into it off the back of the first leg, and a pitch invasion

wrexham was just a league game, on tv, on a sunday, big occasion for them but not us

every aspect of Barnsley was much bigger and better, and i reckon that translate into perception of how full the ground was not that there was that much in it

I doubt there will have been much of a difference as that was an extra game. Don't know if Barnsley brought a full allocation.
