I like big away followings, it creates a big game atmosphere , & if we're scared of their fans giving them an edge when we outnumber them 4 to 1, it would show that we have some low quality fans who would rather whine & complain than support the team.

Me, I can't wait & look forward to seeing them streaming out 15 minutes before the end !!

Yep. Spot on

Absolutely,.....if we could sell the tickets to Bolton fans, of course we should have done but since we still haven't sold out our tickets, it's a pointless argument.

We're not tinpot fucking Blackpool who prefer to have 2000 empty seats rather than sell them to away fans ( & are no doubt turning away a decent amount of money in doing so !! )

I agree with both arguments, but as this is what the club have decided then we go with it and I agree with you it creates a big game atmosphere, it will feel even better if we win.  The downside is there's definitely an added atmosphere when we have a good number in the corner of South Stand, but it seems that's a thing of the past now, so I'd rather have some fans in there than leave it empty.

But having fans that don't sing doesn't mean they are low quality fans who would rather whine and complain, its not one or the other!  If I don't sing at a given match, it doesn't mean I'm complaining.  5k of us didn't sing v Huddersfield but most seemed to enjoy the game, it was a sitting on hands sort of occasion.

For many reasons singing at a home game isn't for everyone.  Its just a fact that 9 times out of 10 away fans on a jolly day out are going to be louder than the same number of home fans.

Pretty much were I'm at really.

I get the annoyance, why would you give them a "helping hand" with so many, but I'm really looking forward to it as a good test. Let's see how we get on against a good team infront of a bumper crowd.

I fancy us to make a statement win.

Both are possible together: annoyance and positivity.

The comment about not selling out "home" tickets misses the point, as you say, no need to give anyone a helping hand.

Bolton are playing Bradford at the right time , we've hit a bit of bad form with injuries hitting form so expect you to beat us but you never know

Aye I can't wait. Proper big match feeling.

I just don't get the decision.

I'll still be there and still moaning on here at 7pm when I'm still sat on carpark :D

Scott’s car park as well. Not even close to seeing the m61

Disgrace really blame the board of we get beat and miss out on promotion by 3 points should have been restricted to whatever they will give us at there’s less than half .

profit above promotion

I can see the argument against allowing a big following which can help the away team but we're a long way from making a profit. Listened to the Q&A recording on the BN and it's clear that a lot of things on the to do list are being put off to divert resources to the team. Extra ticket sales either means more money for the team or a smaller loss rather than profit. Regardless, COYWM - hopefully we'll take another step to getting rid of the "can't perform in front of a big crowd" monkey.

Bradford seem to have had a little dip in form and I think have a couple of injuries to boot, as Zico said could be a good time to play them.

Minimal injuries and players returning to fitness for us, and what looks a good run of games on paper after the next couple. Hopefully we can start picking up those wins away to put ourselves in a really good position ahead of January transfer window.

If we don’t beat them I will be pissed off. No matter their form etc we want to go up and want to be champions so need to win. Losing / drawing in front of a big crowd will be rubbish

Still don't get where 2,000 seats have gone missing to if we hit 26,000.

Segregation will only be a couple hundred at absolute max.

I'd imagine there'd be a few rows at either end of lower blocked off and possibly a couple in the upper, at the front or edges, I seem to recall they might have done that v Wigan 🤔

Think it’s likely we’ll break 26k but that’ll be it.

very impressive from both sides

Big crowds don’t suit us only won 2 of the above 🙄

The club seem to be making a big thing about this 25k  - knock off Bradfords 5 and a bit and we are around the 20k home fans mark - no different from last few home games

it was suggested the otther day that big crowds affecting us was a "narrative", but that pretty much suggest otherwise

add in other big ones like Carlisle, and Chesterfield under PP and it doesn't seem like a coincidence

anyway

different managers, different team, different mindset

be reet

also

looking at Bradford's form, they haven't won since Sept 27th!  4 draws and 1 defeat in last 5

bring it on

They're a physical side and I imagine, like Vale, will be clattering into ACD the first chance they get.  Hopefully a strong ref and we make use of the extra space ACD creates.

2-1 win

Watched their game at home to Lincoln and they were second best all over the park but managed a draw.

Dirty bastards though and kick anything that moves so like Duck Head said we need a strong ref and don’t retaliate
