Imagine spending all week moaning about it. Fucking losers.

Made no difference.

Didn't it? Bradford were definitely a poor set of away fans, but I thought our home fans atmosphere was a bit down on where it has been and it could have been due to not having the crazy corner wraparound into south lower.

Could also have just been that it was an incident free game with a lot of stopping. Every throw in and goal kick seemed to take at least 30 seconds, how are refs allowing this?

Other than Toal (who was far and away the best player on the pitch), GJ (who had another good game) and TSL (feels like he’s showing what he can do now, great save at the end!), not one of them had a good game.

Dempsey was man of the match for me. Remember, those you’ve named earned most of their plaudits in the last 20 minutes, after Dempsey was withdrawn.

I was pleased when I saw Dempsey starting but he didn't really have his best game.

Morley isn't doing it, there are 2 players ahead of him for me.

Christie is a decent player, prefer him at left back than Cogley.

Should have been ahead at half time but by the end a draw was a reasonable result.

Fair point highlighting Dempsey, I edited my post to include some praise for him - not sure he reached MotM levels for me but definitely a good game back!

I think you’re being harsh on the defenders. Granted Bradford only came into it in the second half, but even in the first Toal mopped everything up, won every header, was in great positions to deal with crosses and very good in possession. Definitely highlighted more in the second half when they were more of a threat but I thought he looked back to his best today, proper ‘League one Rolls Royce’

Thoughts on the game:

-Midfield balance wasn't right with Morley and Dempsey ahead of Sheehan, as it left Burstow too isolated. We definitely switched to a "6 and two 8s" in modern terminology and I don't think it worked.

-We still had far more of the chances to win the game. Tutu should have scored one of his two chances, Duberry kept having a bad final touch to set his shot and the chance went, and Burstow should have gone down for the penalty on his chance in the second half (so tempting for him to stay up but it was a pull that left him off balance and a clear pen)

-Defence was great, keep getting these clean sheets will be key to turning around the away from

-and finally why were we taking so many touches around the box, either shoot or cross. It's infuriating to watch

Overall though a point today isn't a bad result and we're still in the mix, but someone is going to go on a run soon and we don't want to get left behind

You make some great points, @Eddie, and I wasn’t being harsh on the defence. I agree Toal and Johnston had very good games, as did TSL.

However, aside from scoring, we battered them in the first half and Dempsey was driving a lot of this, creating opportunities that others than didn’t take.

I thought Dempsey was the right choice for the 10 position today, played it more like a combative midfielder than a second striker but it was what was needed in a physical, hectic game. My only little gripes was him turning down three shooting opportunities in first half when he'd clear sight of goal.

Wasn't easy for Forss to get into it when he came on for him, his instinct was to play more as a striker and I felt we lost a little bit of grip in the middle (though he did threaten in their box a couple of times)

No one seemed to have a good first touch today and on the other hand those that did took too many

Just an off day

Fancy us to get something at Luton though after the twatting they got today

Disappointing result but another point on the board and another unbeaten game at home. Could’ve, should’ve won by scoring first half and putting them out of sight but we didn’t so hey ho

Anyone moaning about teams behind us with games in hand. We know from experience how easy it is to piss that advantage away so I’ll take the points in the board thanks. Also, the other week, when everyone around us lost or at lost points

I’ll take the point, the money from a full away end, and wait for ‘the view from the other side’ as they’ll take it as a point gained I reckon

Onwards and upwards

That can wait till tomorrow 🍻

Funny innit normally would be disappointed not winning at home but I'm pretty chilled after that one

I wouldn't mind but the ultra modern mini super computer that I carry around in my pocket that I both watch horrendous porn on and also speak to my mum now and again took it upon itself to take a photo of the stadium in this state.

Looks decent to me.

Last couple of games he's put the 'doesn't save much' tag well to bed, not had loads to do in either but when called upon has responded very well.

Looking like a decent keeper, I love his sure handling and distribution, 2 more decent saves today.  Not long since there were a few on here saying he had to be taken out of the firing line for his own good!

Every one is a big game from now on... loving it

Absolutely. A position I always prefer up to the Christmas period. The hunters rather than the hunted closing in on our prey.

Love my iPhone, would be lost without it, but my mate’s Android knocks the spots off it for photos

Btw that shot from Humphries was possibly the hardest shot I’ve ever seen. Great reaction save from TSL, and Christie did well to head the rebound wide

How shit was Sarcevic?

Arse was twitching a bit seeing them come on at half time, because it felt like the script was written, and to be fair to Humphries he did make a difference and is a half decent player - Sarce was garbage though!

Got this one just after kick off. Sometimes have to remember we're watching L1 football. Impressive from both clubs

It wasn't easy for him today, got next to no service, too many rushed lumps up to him and often beyond, took plenty of hits and scrapped away till he'd run his race. He'll have better days again.

Can't disagree, little service other than the knock down to him which he put well wide, and frustrating for him having Duberry shooting rather than passing at every opportunity.  He'll have better days yes but I feel like he's not played well for a while, he was a stand out because of his goals and when he isn't a goal threat he's no longer that nailed on no.1 striker.  All of the reasons for having an off day can be applied to to the other 3 striker options, it was his ability to score great goals like v Wigan and Posh that made him stand out from the rest.

I know its probably not top of the list of conversation topics tonight but I bet our stadium hasn't looked as dramatic as this many times before.

The stadium looked magnificent today, the misty darkness added to it, but I can't remember it looking so full, which is incredible for a L1 fixture.

And plenty around us in ESL arrived after KO, traffic ridiculous before the game and many didn't make KO.

By half time it was like a night game. I always think the atmosphere is better when we play in the dark

Agree with the general view......we were much the better team !st half, Bratfud were hanging on & we should have scored & I was very confident at h/t

but 2nd half, they threw more men forward & improved - they were nothing special but I did fear a sucker punch - & i thought we became disjointed with too many aimless long balls.  But a draw isn;t a disaster.

For me, Sheehan & Morley are too similar to play together with Sheehan 1st choice & dropping Simons didn't work.

MOTM   Toal, won all his challenges & good with the ball .
