Port Vale (H)

What could possibly go wrong? Despite Darren Moore’s assertion that they are better than their league position suggests, all the signs are that they are there for the taking on Saturday and I can’t imagine any of us would not be disappointed with anything less than 3 points, especially after our recent heroics.

As the old adages go, it’s 11 against 11, any team in this league can beat any other team on their day etc etc…but we don’t want to think about that do we?

What we want to see is an improved performance, a professional attitude, a clean sheet, goals and a statement win that sets us up for the theoretically tougher run of games ahead.

Bring it on.

Randall must be bloody amazing in training, but he's a waste of space in matches.

Puzzling team selection.

Slightly worried we will get bossed n the middle with that selection. Although since Sheehan learned to tackle we might be ok.

If Randall doesnt turn it on today he needs kicking out the door . Last chance saloon .

I'm with @desperado, surprised at the inclusion of Randall and Cissoko, and Christie to a lesser extent.  I expect to see two of Forss, Tutu and Dempsey before the 65th minute, but a big opportunity for them all.

Cogley must be injured as not even on the bench. If so Christie makes sense.

But yes, surprised at the other 2 starting. Big opportunity for them both though in a game we should be winning

Vale fans really not happy with Darren Moores team selection! Lets batter the barstewards!

That shows how strong, for this level, our defensive squad is. Taylor & Forino are unfortunate imo though Conway has yet to fail us.

I'm willing for any player to show his true self but fck me Randall has to do so.

Sloppy start. Six minutes in and we’re yet to string 3 passes together. Get a grip lads.

Well played GJ, Great block!

As I feared were getting dominated in the middle, leading to chances for them and nowt for us. Not helped by ACD losing the ball all the time.
Something has to change and fast.

who was saying TSL doesnt make saves?

First one of the corner was a camera save but second one was a great save.

We're bring really sloppy with no real threat atm..

Chuffed for Simons

Pleased also for Cissoko who's taken longer to settle than Gale & ACD. Showing there's a player there.

Could be a good day with Bradford, Wimbledon, Stockport and Lincoln all losing atm.  No doubt stuff’ll change…

Just need Donnie to get back at Barnsley - who have 2 games in hand on us.
