Now we know we won’t have another midfield signing eligible for tomorrow, how about giving young Ritchie a place in the squad to see how he does?

EE got a touch of cramp iirc.

Simons may not have been at his best, but over the Christmas period, none of them were, including Sheehan.

We have a good enough midfield 3 there, and with fresh impetus from signings, I reckon we'll be fine.

Yes was crap but he does seem to pull up with hamstring injuries if pushed need to be careful to many minutes in a short period but will have to play no other  option but could bring Dempsey on second half start

Be Interesting to see how we line up tomorrow. Have a feeling it'll be 4 at the back, with mcatee playing off dalby. Id expect one of Dempsey and Simons to be on the bench.

Sheehan’s still out, no Morley now, so wonder if we’ll see Ritchie on the bench (at least).

If this is the case we really need to get on them from the start and not be hoping to be still in it, after 90 odd minutes.

Their home record is unbelievably bad.  Since 25th Oct, played 8 in league and FA Cup.  Won 0, drawn 3, lost 5.

Scored 2!  Not scored in last 4 home games and lost the last 2.

And their opponents couldn't have been better hand picked - lost to Burton, Gateshead, Wigan, Exeter and Doncaster.  Drawn with Vale, Stevenage, Mansfield.

The only thing in their favour is they don't concede many, just 2 in last 4 home games.  But it would be hard to find an "easier" away game, on paper. 

Obviously it'll be 0-0 at H-T.

We've got new players, got rid of some that didn't want to be here.

We're on the back of a good little run.

If freshness plays so much of a part, then we're probably not good enough to go up by means of compensating for it.

We were on a good run up to the original Stevenage away game was postponed and playing sat / tue and the break did us no good at all and then went on a bad run  so playing often and winning can sometimes be better than having a break .

Not been to the new Wimbledon ground but did go to Plough lane back in the day, think it was 4-0 sat in the stand we got absolutely battered… there was a flash bloke smoking a cigar…. Turned out it was Sam Hamman.   Was a long time ago anyone else there that day?  Just checked under 3k on was January 84.

Aye......there was a bit of a fire in the (wooden ) stand, I think it was  George Oghani 's first game for us, to a mixed reception & we got pasted 4-0.

Oddly I've seen us play away v Wimbledon on 4 grounds which I think is my most......Plough Lane, Palace, Kingstonian & their current ground !!

For context, that was Wimbledon's 1st ever season as high as Div 3, not long up from non league.  And it was our 1st season as low as div 3 for over a decade and maybe our 3rd ever?  So we weren't meant to lose there, never mind 4-0.  Our season literally peaked at Christmas, beating Wigan Boxing Day and Oxford (who won the league) the next day to go 2nd or 3rd.  First 3 away games of 1984, lost 5-0 at Sheff U, 4-0 at Wimbledon, 1-0 at Walsall.  No play offs in them days, the season became an irrelevance.

Revenge exacted at Easter - Oxford away 5-0 defeat Good Friday (one of few games I went to on official coach), Wigan home 0-1 first ever defeat to them the next day.  Bleak times.

Loads of young players who could not really cope with the rigours of a full season.  We did beat Wimbledon at home 2-0 on the opening day although my memory of that game was that they battered us in the first half and could not score. 

How did we end up playing on both Good Friday and Easter Saturday? Awful end to the season until Sheff U came chanting "win or riot" and suddenly we decided to play well !! 

Wigan North Western seems to be a fairly even split of Bolton and Everton fans
