Point away and late goals always good

But same old

They take their chances

We don't

The top two with convincing wins

Aim for me now is 3rd with momentum going in to play offs

Late goal specialists again.

If it wasn't for that first 95 minutes.

Don’t think we will get 3rd with the teams around us having games in hand.

I'm beginning to think we could sign prime Beckham and Ginola and not manage to put a decent cross in. Reading were fucking woeful yet looked comfortable for most of the game.

Good for Burstow, smart lay back from Rodrigues, two bits of calmness in the mayhem. Their keeper had come out decisively just before but that was a big cock up.

We'll draw about 20 games 1-1 at this rate.

Another good performance. Without doing enough to get over the line.

its so frustrating. A lack of quality letting us down and even the most glass half full supporter must think 2nd is beyond us now. I don’t see Lincoln dropping off on their form and I do see us having a late season blip.

Lincoln will have a bad run it's just whether we are too far off to capitalise.

Doesn't really matter where in the Top 6 we finish, as long as we do and we finish the season in good form.

I have every faith that we will finish strong, we're now playing some very very good stuff, just need to convert the pressure. That's easier to do that not creating anything at all.

Blackett - Taylor has to start on Saturday

Poor that tonight… Schumacher poor starting selection and subs tonight.

I suppose if they bag the chances we don't worry about anything else.

Unfortunately, we haven't been effective at bagging the many chances all season.

Would a more pragmatic selection have been more appropriate?

Maybe.

Easy after the event I suppose, but it has almost certainly now cost us a chance of automatic promotion.

Glad we got the goal, but we were very disappointing.

Reading are a horrible team and we should have scored more than one goal.

It probably would have been very different if Kenny had put that chance away.

I’m not seeing it. I don’t know why they’re more likely to drop points than we are. What is it based on?

The cliches are already out in force:

Character to keep going

Team spirit

Never say die attitude

…but despite the general quality of our players, that reminded me of so many games earlier in the season when we failed to score, fell behind, chased the game etc etc.

We play attractive football at times, but it peters out near the opposition goal and we’re always committing players forward which leaves us susceptible to breaks. Attractive as it is, it only works if we produce quality chances, crosses and finishes and make no mistakes.

Anyway, it’s a point, but we need to play better than that.

It is a useful point in the hunt for a play off spot because with the awful run in this is not guaranteed

Who knows what game it would have been had Kenny scored but it's same old story almost every other game, new signings still missing and having to scrape points at the end against inferior sides, a point keeps us unbeaten but look how comfortable those top 2 seems to make things, yet every game we have is a close game.

They aren't showing any signs of having a bad run.

2 of whom lost tonight.

Phew. They werent all that. I do worry about the playoffs

Elements of them can be a lottery. One bad day in a leg or the final and you've blown it. But it's a great squad to be taking into the playoffs..

Big disappointment to be in February and only have the playoffs to go for.

Baring a major blip, it will be a surreal couple of months and we may have a number of games with nothing to play for.

I think points wise Lincoln would have to lose 3 plus Thier game in hand they have a far better goal average can't see it happening

Any last sniff of the autos went last Saturday.

We’ve got a late goal us which is good but we’re still miles off it for me. I think we get mugged over two legs the way we are this season. Don’t fancy us at all in the play offs

We do have a reasonable record against the better teams.

This has been my thing all season. We’ve not really blown anybody away like the good teams do and have.

Season in a nutshell really. Miss a golden early chance, concede the first shot on target, bundle in a late goal.

Having said that, it shouldn't be painted as though it was the alamo. We created very little after they scored. Overall, just not good enough.

Oh well. Will all be worth it when that last minute goal at Wembley goes in.

Points always a good result away from home, but they were there for the taking tonight.
