Presume you were also "done with him" when he created the winner at Wimbledon and scored v Barnsley.  

And since day one, literally his debut, I've criticised his coming back to "defend" and giving free kicks away because he's clumsy in the tackle.  He should be up front as a striker or a 10, nowhere near our box.  That's on SS, too many forwards asked to do a job they can't do.  Kenny's no better in that regard.  

Careful what you wish for because we don't have anyone any better, we're weakened by his suspension.

Couldn’t disagree more - he’s wank and we have plenty more options that I’d see ahead of him up front or wherever the fuck he was meant to be playing today.

They moved to a "back 4" late on when they decided to see the game out and hold on. He says back 4 but it was more like a back 6 or 7. What won us the game was a back 3 with wing backs.

Either way, whatever system we play, at any point of the remaining games, needs to include Forino.

Look at the one above - his elbow is in the guy’s face and look where the ball is (red circle). It’s inexplicably stupid. He’s jumped into and taken the player out with his arm (how much force can be questioned) before the ball is even close to being in a position to challenge for it. 

What SS has said about it and his own reaction tell you that neither of them think it was harsh decision. It’s all on him this one.

Yes its fantastic to get a win we didn't "deserve" (in terms of possession etc).   Do the 2 shots on target include the 2 goals?  So actually none from open play (can we count pens as a shot on target?!).

It just shows as well how some things are out of our control - Reading, Rotherham and Port Vale both had very similar chances to the one Plymouth had early in the game, in that inside right position, and they buried their chances, the Plymouth guy gave Bonham a chance to save it and he did that well.  On another day, we're a goal behind and its a different game.  Or the others don't score and we go onto win those games.  Its not always about how well we play, its just that things go for you one day and not another.

Agree with everything everybody is saying and there is a little historical thing to add. We talk a lot about places at which we perennially struggle - Blackpool and Rotherham always featuring. Them sort of fouls are for players who simply cannot jump or head the ball. I have not seen either from McAtee. How he has got as far as he has is a credit to himself yet a stain on scouts at a number of clubs

He  needs urgent coaching to at least keep his hands by his sides when he attempts the same.

We were just as committed v Doncaster, Rotherham and Port Vale.

They didn't handle the ball for no reason in the box and 2 of them took their 1st half chances.

And we were able to play on the break today instead of against a 10 man defence, it makes a big difference.

No difference in commitment or effort, they were busting a gut at Vale, but hamstrung by SS's tactics.

Plymouth fans were very impressed with Forino that 2nd half. 

And I’ll hold my hands up, my comments about hoping we’ll see Harrington for Bonham at some point, look very silly after today’s performance.  He was fantastic. 

A great away following, it’s great to be rewarded with a well earned, well deserved 3 points against an in-form team.

4 or 5?  I can think of 2 (Conway and Sheehan).  And both had very underwhelming games today so they probably aren't referring to them.

I have no knowledge of the standard of other L1 keepers to know if Bonham is one of the better one's, can't recall many having a great game against us but may have forgotten some.

It's rather commendable.

We've just missed the consistency of the bog standard results and the nitty gritty needed to test the top 2 properly, but christ we can pull it out the bag when we need to.

 

Not sure what you mean, genuinely.  We needed to in the previous 3 games, to name 3.  We didn't get a pen and an OG in them, so we didn't pull it out the bag.

Loving today's result and it gives us a massive shot in the arm, but we've under performed this season precisely by not pulling it out the bag when we needed to.  A strange statement given the season we've had.
