Without Ritchie on the bench, we lose that.

Big shout out to the fans who travelled there today, never stopped singing all second half and were a massive lift after the idiots sending off. Well done guys. 👍

  • Dalby really puts in some effort to get in the box for the winner. 4 Plymouth players between him and goal here.

Correct - pulling it out of the bag when not expected.  Eg Cardiff, Huddersfield, Wycombe 2 down, Plymouth.

As opposed to pulling it out the bag when its needed - Vale, Northampton.....you get my drift.  Lincoln have pulled out those results and that's the difference, they did it again today.  But that's because they are the best team in L1, rather than having better mentality or fighting qualities, they are just the best team clearly.

Exactly what I said in my post.

We've lacked consistency.

But there's been a gazillion games we've won that had no right of winning.

Last minute goals all over the show.

We've barely put a run together all season where we looked properly impressive but still sit 3rd and have an uncanny knack doing someone magical.

Which bodes well in an end of season cup competition not against shithouses.

Lovely stuff yesterday.

The games v Donny and Vale were ones where we'd temporarily run out of rabbits, ones where we couldn't keep having a shitter and bailing ourselves out late on.

Great that the rabbits have been restocked, hopefully we wont need to use them all by May

Can’t believe mcatee is pleading not intentional. He never looks where ball is and lines up the jump into Mitchell with a (limp) elbow.

Presumably hoping to avoid an extended ban.

Btw My lads who were on the Barbican last night with some of your lads say we’ll swap you the Whites Away (which we started singing early in the season as “…I hate it”when we were shit) for the Whitney number .

A bit of both..

Or whatever the fuck you want 😂

Whatever way 🎵 I like it 😂🎵

… and its in my head this morning

I thought it was " jack's the way I like it ..."  Serenading jack bohnam after his assist and early saves ...

Then it just seemed to morph into "that's the way I like it "

Think hearts fans have copyright in it with "hearts the way I like it ..."

4/10 fishing attempt, it’s a good job I’m in a good mood 😉

Was a good day for random chants. “Jack Bonham” to the “I’m horny” Mousse T tune sounds ridiculous and somehow turned in to a piece of genius.

To save me reading through where all our midfield players yesterday ?

Not even on the bench ?

Dempsey, family/personal issue

EE/Simons, collided with each other in training and likely out for a couple more weeks

He obviously didn't intentionally elbow him

Blimey whites, that's reactionary even for you.

Not a red, you're acting as if he assaulted him.  And if its not unusual, when was his last red? (I genuinely don't know so I'm open to being corrected).

At least he can be replaced by the plethora of goalscoring and creative strikers/no.10's we have.

Fair enough, I may be overstating it but it was just such a stupid and clumsy challenge and no attempt to win the ball. He’d already given away two senseless free kicks in dangerous areas so I was already pissed off with him, as clearly were a few of his teammates. Sorry but I’m not a fan and hope he’s away in the summer.

Agreed, even in the closing stages of injury time he wasn’t pressing the ball where it was needed. Perhaps he was blowing out of his arse at that stage, but on initial thoughts he’s not the defensive midfield ratter it looks like we might need for a couple of weeks.

He's never a defensive ratter as you put it.

Looks capable with the ball at his feet though.

He'd do well enough as a wide midfielder.

Any chance Dempsey back on Monday ?

Bad time to lose any players

Aye,  3 midfielders in one go is not good.

For anyone who was there -  did Conway step into midfield 2nd half and if so how did he look ?

Yeah him and Desmond played as wing backs really and both looked much more comfortable

Think we look better playing the back 3, it also gets rid of gale (me not liking him grows every game).

He is best out of the team; offers nothing and we’re better with ten men.

What was he obviously trying to do? Get bummed?

He's just not very good at jumping for the ball

He was a wingback from about 45 min to 75-80ish (and looked so much more comfortable than as a left back).

We brought Christie on for RR on 63 mins to be the 2nd centre mid with Sheehan. He did ok to be fair given the circumstances but at about 75-80 mins we noticed Conway had moved central to make it a midfield 3 with Johnston to left back and back to a back 4 (midfield of Christie, Sheehan, Conway with Burstow just ahead and then Dalby furthest forward).

I’m not sure it’s fair to come to any opinion on Max in midfield from that 20ish spell - he was on his arse and it was backs to the wall just try and do a job in any way you can. I wouldn’t say he looked comfortable, it certainly wasn’t the advert that says he’s a natural centre mid, but like I say it was just needs must.
