Luton Town (H)

They need to win at ours to have a chance of play offs.

This could potentially mean (obviously other results going a certain way), we could be playing them three games in a row.

They're proper in form too.

3-2 to us

Is the exact opposite of what we should do .

  • This Luton game is one I want us to go out and win. Strongest team available please. Rest players later if needed. End Luton's play-off hopes and put a marker down.

Great minds

We all know SS will not change it he will go hung ho as usual instead of being more solid in defence away from home as most managers do in 2 leg matches when away from home.

The home game against Bradford will be (barring injuries)the same team but swap Bairstow and Conway for Dalby and GJ

Nailed on. We might not like 4 at the back given our dodgy full back options but Schuey seems 100% committed to this.

Wouldn't want Conway near the starting lineup. He's a Complete liability

Watching the game yesterday Kenny needs to get hold of Gale and point out that instead of going for goal time and time again to look up and pass it to somebody who is in a better position twice yesterday he went for goal and Kenny was unmarked .

Forino needs to point out to Conway to fecking make a fecking go at getting back in defence once we lose the ball he regularly saunters back as though he’s fecking Roberto Carlos and all our opposition know this is our weak spot.

There were fucking numerous times were Jonny Kenny went for goal instead of passing yesterday. They were all at it. Amario missed a sitter. Gale was on for 15 minutes.

You can't predict what will happen in the second leg as it's going to be heavily influenced by the first leg result.

Also I don't get the negativity towards schuey. He's shown numerous times this season he's adaptable. If it needs changing up he will change it.

And yet still long enough to waste more chances than Luton actually scored all game.

Not wanting to slag Conway buy you could see from the start that their right back was gonna go at him and was a matter of time before he was gonna get caught way out of position ,   happens to many times.     Johnston ain't a left back but would rather have him there defensively .

Has it been said where Johnston was yesterday?

If he rested the entire team yesterday which he plans on sending out in the first leg he would have had one big call and one easy call to make on the team that started last week at Bradford.....First the easy call replace Burstow with a fit again Dalby.

The second surrounded the left back......He made that yesterday and it was no better.......Just like Evatt everyman and his dog have us worked out.....Evatt had his blinkers on and refused to change......Now SS has two games to work another way we play/set up

Not sure he changes much for the first leg apart from the two calls mentioned, but if we go to Bradford with a draw or one goal lead and nothing changes team wise and we go out he will have but himself to blame for the meltdown that will follow.

Doubt i want many changes next Saturday

After Cissoko ripping Bradford last week I would be surprised if he didn’t start.

It is a fair point but that was by far his best game, not produced anything like that before. But it sort of emphasises the point, do we sacrifice some attacking potential to try and be more solid ? We are at our worst when teams pin us back and we can not get out. The wingers provide that option.

- Actually we are at our worst when the opposition have soaked up a bit of pressure and then we watch them saunter forward and score a couple.

What are you on about? Another way to play or set up?

It's the playoffs , what other way do you think we need to set up.

Who in their right mind wants to play a new system for the playoffs?

Rumoured to be going to Blackpool end of season.

I am not negative towards SS I like him and his press conference yesterday you could tell he was angry but I cannot see him changing anything but that just my opinion.

Expect nothing to change Saturday....If we win by three then take the game to Bradford second leg by all means but if we are one up i would go to Bradford without Sheehan in the midfield but include both Simons and Erahahon....A defence which would be more rigid and go direct with ACD. Dalby and Kenny.....

Who in the right mind changes nothing when it does not work........Not calling for major changes but for players to their jobs in their position.....I dont want to see my left back in Bradfords half for eighty mins when Bradford keep hitting it behind the space he keeps leaving by being out of position......Black and white i want my defenders to be facing the ball not chasing the ball

You learn that at primary school

We're not going anywhere, home or away, this season without Sheehan starting unless he's injured or suspended.

Then we must play 3 in the middle.

McAtee clean through twice and squared it with fucking shite balls

And there's more chance of us not starting a goalkeeper than us abandoning wingers at this stage.

Cissokho scored twice against Bradford the last time he played against them at home (yes it was the EFL Trophy) and looked like Ronaldinho the last time he played them away. He's nailed on to start next week and they'd be delighted if he didn't.

The team picks itself at this stage. It'll be the side that started at Valley Parade with Dalby in for Burstow if fit enough.
