If Toal is out as we expect he is, meaning Max comes in at left back with GJ moving to the middle, it leaves us very short of defenders if injury or tiredness requires a change. It’s just Christie and with the heat and potentially extra time to come does it mean a place on the bench for young Inwood or even Taylor?

I think we’d just ask our midfielders to be versatile and do a job. Simons filled in at RB earlier on in the season.
