Politics - Part 2

Kemi Badenoch doesn’t really need to speak in public more than once a month and she’ll do ok. In that respect, keeping her head down is proving very effective.

Sniping from the sidelines and criticising everyone clearly has merit. 🙃

This is part 2 of the Politics discussion.

That plumber from Wigan who stood against Andy Burnham, ‘liked’ a Facebook post from someone who made a sexual remark about Carol Vorderman. He was asked about it on Newsnight and Question Time. It was all over the media that he was sexist. It didn’t help his cause during the election.

I said a few weeks ago that banning under sixteens from the internet was fine but It was the over sixteens that should be looked at.

He wrote the post

He didn’t write the post and I’d say the leader of one of the main parties sharing a post about one of his main rivals being beheaded is a bit worse than a plumber from Wigan wanting to smell Carols arse. But that’s just just me

for what it's worth, he didn't just "like" it, he replied saying "He's only saying what we're all thinking"

he also

"described Brexit as an economically damaging project promoted by politicians who "peddled the nationalistic pish".

When asked about those comments, Kenyon insisted he had voted for Brexit, and said he had "no recollection of saying that".""

Fair enough. My mistake.

Not that fucked about either case if I’m honest.

That's not what happened but I ain't that bothered about it to risk the usual bollocks that normally ensues, I will leave that to LW and you.

You think the world's press are bothered about any of this bollocks?

They’re probably not bothered with a lot of stuff but they report on it. BBC, Guardian, Sky, telegraph are all reporting on it

Those in Greater Manchester don't forget to go have your say at the polling station today.

I've just watched this Polanski interview on Newsnight. I can't even believe it's made the news 😮

...and this is precisely why we are where we are. Elected officials fair game for assassination it seems - nothing to see here.

A good number of you have gone stark, raving fucking mad. Further into the abyss we go.

Reform voters/fans are generally too thick to realise the double standards on show by Farage. Like with Trump, they just seem to double down on their support. I think it's because they're, generally, fucking gormless fuckwits

We are. Thick, owd racists - remember?

nope, there are plenty of of young thick racists around as well, as I said, they're not all old

Coming down the road, grist to the mill, Up the Ra......and whatever else you lot say 🙂

Talking of Reform, I heard on the radio that there is something like 34 different candidates for the upcoming by-election in Clacton......34, that's bonkers

Who won the Rumworth jobby?

I think if Farage somehow ends up with a lower vote share than the last election that'll be enough of a loss in this scenario.

A monumental waste of everyone's time and money seeing as there will almost certainly be another one before the year is out that will actually be contended.
