  • Exactly this. Honestly never seen a manager lose his fucking mind on the biggest of stages like that tonight. It's one thing letting the game pass you by and not reacting. But it's completely differen

Honestly, a lot of times when we go out in the latter stages, we've played well and just not had the bounce or whatever. But this was just craven and unnecessary. Semi final of the World Cup, go out

  • Get Tuchel sacked immediately. That's worse than any of Southgate's defensive horror shows. Completely gave the game away at 1 nil up, by stopping playing for 35 minutes.

Tuchel's substitutions in the last game were a hindrance more than a help.

Let's see:

We had Bellingham as a holding midfielder/double pivot. Eberechi Eze randomly on and doing fuck all.

A right-back (James) similarly as a holding midfielder/pivot.

A right-back (Spence) at left-back.

A centre-back (Konsa) at right-back.

Make that make sense. Let's not sugarcoat it, it was utterly fucking chaotic.

We do that against Argentina and we will get destroyed. And it won't be wokery why we lose.

Clearly doesn't rate Mainoo. Eventually playing Rogers in midfield ahead of him. Perhaps we're missing Wharton as well.

We need Anderson and Rice at the top of their game. Much like Ruiz and Rodri today. Even then not sure our defence good enough.

This game will be the equivalent of an English boxer going to Madison Square Garden, fighting a Yank, with all the judges being from that continent.

They aren't that good at the back, we can score through them (they'll think the same no doubt) but our biggest obstacles will be their dark arts if they're struggling and weak refereeing of it

We won the game D

Yep.

Spence plays both positions and was excellent when he came on.

Bellingham was inhibited when Eze came on as he went deeper. TT saw this and changed it, putting Eze wide and James on. It helped reduce their superiority during that period, and was a good tactical move.

Konsa did well enough.

As you say, we found a way to win.

Why?

They mock everybody.

Some of their stuff is better than others but it's all a bit of fun at the end of the day.

Had a look

They try and mock everyone

But it's just shite and embarrassing

There doesn't seem to be much Latin American solidarity on social media

No one makes anyone watch it.

Bit like Jonathan pie. Some funny, some less so.

Comedy comes in varied forms, and it wouldn't work if everyone found the same stuff humorous.

All part of free speech- or it should be.

lol, I just thought it was a bit mad that you can do that with AI now, won't be needing actors in movies in a couple of years

The Argies will be ruthless and aggressive as they always are.

With Messi past his best (but still good) they are not as good as they once were. They scraped past Switzerland , who we would expect to beat, but they won’t give a shit about how they got the result. They have won it 3 times and go to semis twice since we last won it, they are German like in their ability to get the job done.

Having said that we have got to the semis without any wide players or midfielders being outstanding. If Rice and Saka are getting closer to full fitness it will improve us substantially (be like new signings).

Too close to call for me.

TT has done ok during the tournament and picked a squad that he thought would gel. But three of his picks Mainoo, Toney and Chalobah have not been given 1 minute and you wonder how much disruption it would need for them to get on, so it is a valid question would others such as TAA, Maguire, Cole Wharton and Foden have offered more ? Who knows ?

I think we are good enough to win today, bookies have us slight favs but not sure if those odds would be the same in Argentina. A strong ref that cracks down on their overly aggressive approach would help.

we'll shit 'um

In his prime I found Frank Skinner to be the best of the lot and wouldn't have a word against it

Before he went all TV friendly

As for your last sentence, who says there's free speech stopping comedians?

Chubby Brown is still going if that's your thing

Yep. Can't afford to fuck around with subs like in the last game though

Rogers off the right apparently, Madueke really hasn't grabbed his chance and Saka can come off the bench,

Madueke is shit. Saka is still not fit, which begs the question should he have been taken in the first place.

It'll be interesting to see how Rogers plays, the Argentinians tend to play quite narrow, so I expect he'll be cutting in an awful lot

England XI: Pickford; James, Stones, Guehi, Spence; Rice, Anderson; Rogers, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane

Interesting….

Excellent montage

Simeone in for them. Scaloni trying to give us PTSD from the last time we faced them in a knockout match.
