Mounts Kipper
if your a bolton fan for any length of time today is a minor disappointment, to suggest otherwise perhaps marks you out as a johny come lately.
Smiley
call me sadistic, - but I loved it today! came out of semi-retirement to attend an away game - enjoyed myself. Saw some old faces and some proper loyal fans who had discareded the "mothers day" excuse. so ragging what, the result went the wrong wayl but as conversations went aterwards, it was harldy Field Mill or Brisbane Road was it? LIGHTNEN UP FOR FFS.
frank_spencer
During our bad spell last season we were a hell of a lot worse than yesterday! 9 easy points from the next 3 games and we're back up there!

Site Supporter MickyD Posted March 27, 2006 Site Supporter Share Posted March 27, 2006 Portsmouth away on a Tuesday night about three years ago. Lost 4 - 0. That was probably the worst I've ever had the misfortune to see live.

jayjayoghani
Halifax away in a 0-0 draw without a shot on target. Was that a night match? Went to that one if that's the case. For some reason the away end was both sides of the players tunnel. Mick Brown and Phil Neal didn't half get some shit. Overheard Dean Crombie describe The Shay as a "f??cking mess". He wasn't wrong. BigUn
being 4-0 down at halftime away at Derby, about 8 yrs ago was a pretty piss poor game as well. and we played in that purple ensemble to make it worse.
Guest Biff
The worst Bolton have ever been was against Shrewsbury at Burnden in the eighties. We lost 4 - 0 and at the end of the game the crowd were shouting "Only one player trying". That was Warren Joyce (The player trying not the crowd ). Moderators Casino Posted March 27, 2006 Moderators Share Posted March 27, 2006 thought that was against bristol city, and i thought joyce scored in the end btw, warren joyce was probably my least favourite player of the time, but that night he was 10x better than owt else we had

Guest
Is no one going to mention "black Sunday" [-( No matter how poor our team was on paper, no Wanderers team should have rolled over like that one did that day
xxxxxx
It's not Bolton's worst performance I've seen. I was mad yesterday because of the way we played......guess I wasn't thinking straight when I started this topic, probably because of the anger. I overreacted.
