Zozzy Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Includes all Prem clubs 200 quid for the season major travel industry sponsor onboard you heard it here first smiffs ITFK That's great news, especially the ITFK bitIf you book a block of 30 at the same time, do you all get to sit together at every ground?
Sweep Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 If it is true, it would be fantastic, especially as it works out at only ??10.53 each match. I presume that there would only be a fairly limited number of them available though, especially considering somebody like Colchester could get promoted via the play offs and their away end only holds about 500 people. The idea sounds great, I just can't see all 20 PL clubs (who ever they may be next season) agreeing to letting a number of away fans in for just over a tenner, when the home fans are likely to be paying at least double that amount. I also presume that you would only be allowed to get one of these "away season tickets" if you actually already hold a "home season ticket" Fingers crossed it's true though
marple whites Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Been after 1 of these for years. A few other clubs have had them in the past. When I brought it up at one of our shareholders meetings, people at our club had never come across them !! Would save a lot of work for the ticket office - re applications and a lot of time for us filling out application forms !!
Guest as Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I'd sooner have an away season ticket than a home one.
Pablo Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 This would only work with Clubs that have small away followings!
marple whites Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Clubs that have done it, limited it to 500 due to the different away allocations. So any club can do it.
dannyc2 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 (edited) how would they work out how many would travel or the size of the away ends? Edited February 22, 2007 by dannyc2
enzo gambaro Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 how work they work out how many would travel or the size of the away ends? Good point well made, Dan.
wayne cramp Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 danny - have you been on that early morning white lightning again ?
Pablo Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Thei is no real need for Clubs to do this, that sell their away allocation.
Piemon Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 500 would be a good number to have. at least then we are garanteed 500 (ish) every away game.
jules_darby Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 This would only work with Clubs that have small away followings! I take it you'll be applying for an Everton one then?
Pablo Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 If they did it yes I would, but I cant see them doing it, why would they need to ?
