Mounts Kipper Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Another good signing Have you or anybody see this lad play? just beacuse he is alonsos brother does not mean he is any good.
Whites man Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Have you or anybody see this lad play? just beacuse he is alonsos brother does not mean he is any good. Yes and he's a good 'un. Much more mobile than Nolan and a better passer of the ball than Speed. His game is well suited to the Premiership and he'll do well for us.

jeep Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 when did you see him? I'm sure I read in an earlier thread that Whites Man has been to watch Real Sociedad play a few times in Spain.
saddlepub Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 not many goals and assists...i hope he plays better in england than spain

Carlos Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Private jokes are totally and utterly wasted on a public website, if you want a conversation then pick up the phone.
Traf Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Use the PM facility for those little chats please. I've removed the posts you made on this thread for that reason.
morphus77 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Good stuff. Six new signings and we are not even out of July, what is happening? Never seen the guy play and cant use his brother to judge so will have to wait and see. The guy will have a losing mentality at the moment after getting relegated last season so LSL (and fellow Scoucers) will have to change that ASAP. So Alonso may play against his brother next season. Got me thinking as tp previous occassions where this has happerned to one of our players. The only one I could think of is David and Dean Holdsworth. Any More?
Sluffy Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Reevsie. I think Alan Waldron played against Colin (Burnley) - around the 1976/77, 77/78 seasons. I would need George's confirmation though to be certain though.
Alf Hartigan Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 when did you see him? Whites Man frequents San Sebastien (where Real Sociedad play) quite often. He has family there.I will vouch for that. I'm not vouching for his judgement though
Whites man Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I'm not vouching for his judgement though Too right, I've got you as a mate
