It was all handled appallingly by the authorities over there. They should have been treated as suspects from the off (whilst trying to show some level of empathy). School boy error as far as police work is concerned. Every infant/child death were the isn't a blatant reason/suspect then the parents or direct family/guardians should be automatically in the frame. They screwed up and with the help of the British police are now on the right track.

The general concensus on there seemed to be that it was all to do with satanic rituals being carried out by members of the Illumiati. So that's cleared that one up then! Oh, and David Icke says The Queen Mother, George W Bush and Tony Blair are actually aliens; reptillian humanoids in fact. He actually goes as far as to name the planet from whence they came but I can't remember it now. And to think the man used to present Grandstand. It'll be Gary Lineker next, you mark my words!

no balls Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 The story coming out of Portugal appears to be an involuntary manslaughter one. There does appear to be a few inconsistencies in the timeline of stories, and let's be honest, if they were telling the whole truth, there shouldn't be.

Both have medical backgrounds, both know about DNA, both know how the system works, both possibly know how to dispose of body parts, bodies because of their medical background, just seems very dodgy! Then again it could be just me being suspicious about a couple on holiday in a strange country, leaving their kids alone whilst they have a meal and piss up, no feckin clues, traces of blood found in a hire car they hired and 25 days after, seem more hell bent on going all over Europe to appeal for everyone to find Maddy, take the media spotlight and thus the heat off them and they seem to show no emotion all through it! Then again I could be wrong!

If they have got rid of body in the hire car it would have been know about. If she'd chopped her own daughter up, she'd have cracked by now. She's Mrs Joe Public living in a media goldfish bowl. Not guilty. But there are a few more twists to the tale to come.

All swingers are murderers? If I'm honest I'm suprised so many think the parents had something to do with Maddies disappearance. Some of the most premeditated and meticulous murderers get caught. IMO If this was indeed and accidental death then no ammount of covering up would have hiden the truth. I think even an under resourced Portuguese police force would have got something. My gut still says they are looking for scapegoats.

Though, if they are innocent of no other crime other than covering up being bad parents by lying about how often they looked into the apartment, they are very silly and selfish people for duping both the police and the general public and also culpable for lying during enquiries. If this really is their only crime, then they should be big enough to come out and tell people that and be ashamed of themselves for not coming clean sooner.

That has been the most worrying aspect of the whole episode. At no time have they looked distraught or at their wits end, rather Mrs Mc in particular comes across as cold and steely, with Mr looking far too calm and clinical, like every sentence has been thought through.

Well they are doctors People react to death differently. Most people in the profession they are in tend to be very detatched with their emotions and, whilst the potential death of your daugter should illicit some kind of emotional response, this may be a factor. Still think one of them did it accidentally or otherwise and the other one is covering up for them. They panicked and just had to lie about it ever since.
