Zozzy Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 It makes me angry that the Reebok wasn't planned better so that the away supporters are kept away from the corner flags in the lower tier. When we play the Red Scum today and we get a corner at their end, the scrotes will be giving the corner taker a load of shit and gobbing on him etc. I don't think about this so much before other games, but these bastards are the scum. At Old Trafford you won't get anywhere near. If we are the home side we should have all the advantages that we can. Our players shouldn't be intimidated when it could have easily been avoided.
ROSSENDALEWHITE Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Do you really think Dioufy will give a s@@T??
trotter58 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 It makes me angry that the Reebok wasn't planned better so that the away supporters are kept away from the corner flags in the lower tier. Better still, make them stand outside the ground and watch it through a gap in the gate.
scowie58 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 To be honest zozzy mate if its diouf it will make him take a better corner for me, but agree with you if it was any other player taking the corner
Happy Wanderer Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I noticed that Guthurie was taking all the corners today, not Diouf and I must say he was not bothered one bit by any abuse. Well done that man. As for planning of the Reebok, the away supporters should be stuck in a corner far up on a top tier.
Krimzon Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I noticed that Guthurie was taking all the corners today, not Diouf and I must say he was not bothered one bit by any abuse. Well done that man. Yeah but Guthries corners were pants.
rochdale white Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Yeah but Guthries corners were pants. Takes me back to the days of Scott Sellars' floaters to the near post for Ged Taggart to flick on!
Krimzon Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Takes me back to the days of Scott Sellars' floaters to the near post for Ged Taggart to flick on! And only slightly better than Pattersons grass cutters into the side netting.

I'm pretty sure that they could manage something close to what you're saying. The clubs official could put Utd fans in the upper tier. I also think they could have their fans just behind the goal. I think the Reebok is flexible enough as a stadium. I think you should write to Gartside about this. See what he syas, then again...

Smiffs Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Why not put them in a tent with a big screen on Rivvy Pike, and get shut of any remaining chance of banter/atmosphere once and for all.
bristol_wanderer Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Their fans don't sing so much when they are not dominating/leading do they? I've always been impressed by their support in previous visits here, but very quiet yesterday.
Piemon Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Their fans don't sing so much when they are not dominating/leading do they? I've always been impressed by their support in previous visits here, but very quiet yesterday. That was Boltons biggest test to shut the Munichs up. They did it within the first 15mins

I've always been impressed by their support in previous visits here, but very quiet yesterday. For once - we're in total agreement. Best fans in the country? Only when they're f?cking winning.......the spoilt glory-hunters would be like mice if United were to go years without winning a trophy. Geordies & Mackems are far & away the best away fans in England.
Smiley Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Their fans don't sing so much when they are not dominating/leading do they? I've always been impressed by their support in previous visits here, but very quiet yesterday. Without a shadow of a doubt - they have the best support in the country. And normally have witty, original songs. I hate it when they come, cos they usually just stand all game, sing and generally take the p1ss out of us. Even when they were 1-0 down, I didn't expect that kind of silence from their end. Very strange.
Smiley Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Geordies & Mackems are far & away the best away fans in England. get real. biggest arseholes on the planet when things aren't going their way. I'd probably say Pompey fans were the best alongside Utd.

Get out of it - you got a scum tattoo on your arse or summat? I swear you actually want to be a red :::::::: The NE clubs are the best fans in England.......how loud are f?cking popmpey when things aren't going their way?!
no balls Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 get real. biggest arseholes on the planet when things aren't going their way. I'd probably say Pompey fans were the best alongside Utd. If you'd have bothered to stop for the full 90 minutes last season at OT you'd have heard us making more noise than them even at 38 - 0 down, so if you're refering to home, I have to disagree. & at our gaff on Saturday, they were pretty quiet as I recall and only chanted in retaliation to us. Maybe I'm wrong.

That used to happen but then again 25,000 Bolton fans were attending ever game and filling the South Stand lower!! With only 25,000 attending on Saturday, I could play devils advocate and ask why was United not given the whole of the South Stand?
Yossi Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Geordies & Mackems are far & away the best away fans in England. Worst post I've ever read on this board. Hotbed of football my arse. Best supporters my arse.
Burndens Bogs Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I'd probably say Pompey fans were the best alongside Utd. I'd agree about Pompey, but Man Yoo? No
Guest squidgy66 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I'd agree about Pompey, but Man Yoo? No I'd agree. All the top four support tends to be rubbish unless they're giving someone a right drubbing. If I had to pick any of the top four's away support it'd be the scousers.
Guest as Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Worst post I've ever read on this board. Hotbed of football my arse. Best supporters my arse. They breathe football up there (well there's nowt else to do). I know people will say that they're sh?te when things aren't going their way - but you name me one club's fans who don't?
Guest squidgy66 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 The Manure fans aint happy with there support on Saturday. Rightly so. Their threads are dull as horse shit though. How many posters can say exactly the same thing? It was like a broken record. I got bored and stopped reading it about 5 pages in. http://208.101.38.218/showthread.php?t=101563
