Free Coach To Spurs - all systems go

According to Cahill the fans should get free travel to Spurs.

I'm sure a wip round in the dressing room could easily sort that out!

weve only asked for the smallest allocation. not sure how many that is though

It would cost about a tenth of the savings they have made on one of Anelka's weekly wages to put free coaches on to Spurs

then ?5 tickets for ST pals for Sunderland game

and free coaches to Chelsea

We've got a great opportunity now - the club has got to everything it can to help the lads get those precious points

That would be better get the place full and rockin'

Now that is a good idea.

surely, but surely, it'll be full without cheap tickets. surely?

I doubt it

We couldn't sell out for the Rags

But Madrid and Lisbon did when it was a fiver

It could be a great game with a top atmosphere but plenty will prefer to watch it in the Flute if they have to fork out ?25+

Fiver for season ticket holders friends may ensure the ground is full and rocking. Club have to do everything possible to give us that chance to stop up. And don't forget, the Sunderland lot are a set of noisy b'stards

Assuming we stay up the club should provide free travel to every away game next season (or at least the ones beyond 50 miles or so) and at a cost of say ?400 a coach its peanuts to take 2000 fans (c.40 coaches) away every other week. ?16k is nothing when we would generate the sort of atmosphere and support we had yesterday and no doubt pushed the lads on to a well earned victory. I doubt we could have done it without that support...it was immense..well done guys!

Bolton must have sh!t fans if we only turn out in numbers for away matches when it's free travel.

Plenty of people are quick to slag off the Chairman and directors when the results go the other way, but they give little praise when they do the good things like free travel to Boro and Arsenal etc.

Eddie and Gartside and his lads have done a lot of good things for this club. Don't forget this is the chairman that bought one of the best centre forwards in europe at a cost of 8 million, a hell of a lot of money for a club of this size. We would have been relegated by now but for decisions like this. I still think I have been living in a dream world watching talented players like this in a white shirt. This is the Chairman that took a chance and brought a relatively unknown manager called Allardyce to our club from the lower leagues . We need to thank the club for giving Bolton fans the chance to watch our beloved team play in other countries. Some of the best experiences I have, and will ever have as a Bolton fan.

Don't get me started on the protesters and the '8 years to build' bollox. What a set of c*nts they are.I could rant for 3 pages about them

Get down to Spurs whether it's free or not and get behind the team and prove that Bolton fans are Premiership fans and not moaning negative b@stards that don't deserve a club in the top flight, because I'm not too sure we do.

after saturday why wouldn't anyone not travel anyway?

why does he have to be free?

still think megson needs to fcuk off at the end of the season though !! :good:

Well done the club, again!

well done

Fantastic, club have realised its a sound investment to get all the fans there to help keep us up :good:

Didn't someone say that we have only requested the minimum number of tickets at Spurs?

With the free travel offer now on, can the club get hold of more match tickets?

will they stop off at Loughborough on the way down?

Just booked my ticket, we have apparently sold between 600-700 out of an allocation of 1000. Get your skates on chaps..

My spurs mate reckons we will have about 1000 tickets. We didnt ask for the full allocation.

They have been on sale for a week or two already.

Looks like everyone wont get one.

A season in europe isn't exactly cheap to fund, we were still in the uefa cup only last month and peoples summer holidays are coming up, so its not suprising we only get away fans when its free travel. Also its a chance for the younger people (inlcusing chavs) to travel to games that they could usually never afford and support their team.

Not that I would have taken up the FREE offer - but great for them to announce it now after many have booked train tickets, etc.

All gone i`m afraid, just been down now and the allocation have all been released

I can see my dad taking the coach because its free and trying to sell his train ticket!

I'd rather go on the train anyway. Fair enough, you might end up sat with some weirdos but you can drink. :drinks:
