jonathan Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) Just a look forward to next tuesdays game against leigh genesis. its most likely going to be a second string XI game. just wondering what team would people play for the game? mine would be: Al Habsi, Hunt, Basham, Shittu, Robinson McCann, J O'Brien, Cohen Riga, Vaz Te, (new signing? - possibly yong) Subs: academy players i.e. sheridan, bogdan, obedayi, mooy etc. That would represent for me a second XI with a first XI playing a few days later away at Borussia Monchengladbach consisting of: Jussi Steinsson, Cahill, A O'Brien, Samuel M Davies, Muamba, S Davis K Davies, Elmander, Taylor I have not included bibbi garnder as he hasn't returned yet to pre-season training. megson also said we might have a couple new faces but i haven't included those. as I was thinking about our squad and which players would go in which team it struck me that our squad isn't as bad/lacking in depth and numbers as I thought. we will hopefully have enough players by the weekend to field a first and second 11 will the potential for 3 or 4 more players still to come in. we have nearly 2 players for every position and if we can sign a good CB and another decent forward our squad should be able to cope with playing at least 40 games next season Edited July 16, 2009 by jonathan

Of the team that you suggest, I would be very suprised if more than two of those play. The team will be full of 16-18 year olds that you have never heard of, and more than likely will never hear of again
