He didn't look as bad as in recent photographs but still none too clever. He's start the day with a quart of scotch and 12 Lambert and Butler, then four or five pints during the morning. A bottle of wine would tide him through dinner, then the Guinness and vodka by afternoon and evening, then half a bottle of brandy before bed. And, would you believe it, he's dead. If you ask me, he was in danger of becoming an alcoholic.

In his own words "he did some shaggin". He lived a short life but never a dull moment.
