January 22, 201412 yr You'll be pleased to know he's in a raft of films coming out this year. I went to watch Jack Ryan, and he was in at least two of the trailers beforehand as well. Oh, and Jack Ryan's not a bad film... bit too "America the Great" for me (ironic?) and Kiera Knightley does not look good in it... and she puts on a really annoying American accent. 6 or 7 out of 10, for me. Costner blows hot and cold. Really enjoyed Mr. Brooks.

Clocked up 3 filums this weekend... Dallas Buyers Club - Fair fucks to Matthew McConaughey. Must've dropped down to about 8 stone for his bad AIDS ridden role. Top notch acting but dragged on and found I didn't really care about any of the characters. 6/10 The Book Thief - I must be going soft. Thoroughly enjoyed this 'charming' tale of a young adopted girl in WWII Germany. 7.5/10 All Is Lost - Excellent. Oddly for a film where there is probably only 5 or 6 sentences spoken in the entirety of it, it's completely gripping. Kudos to the makers of it as they don't try and make it too exciting with million ft high waves and the like, but they do capture his sense of desperation but will to survive magnificently. 8/10
