It's a character piece with dark comedy. I enjoyed it, but I'm sure many won't. I watched it with a friend of mine who was in Reno Little Theatre's production of the same script, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Cumberbatch is pretty good in it, and Meryl Streep isn't terrible. I'd give it a solid 6/10.

February 1, 201412 yr The Book Thief - I must be going soft. Thoroughly enjoyed this 'charming' tale of a young adopted girl in WWII Germany. 7.5/10 I saw this last night, I thought it was a great film cheers D
