Maggie Tate
Anyhow, I went tonight and watched 22 Bullets, un film de le France. It stars that well known actor whose name is That Mon Off Leon. It was very enjoyable nonsense. Very violent too in places. Not as good as Mesrine though, try as it may. Smiley
Watched an hour of the DaVinci Code last night..... I guess I might force myself to endure the 2nd half of it later. The Death & Life of Charlie St Cloud was okay for the kids - youngest was in tears. (Amanda Crew is fit) Okay, I'll play by the rules..... Maggie Tate
The Road was my favourite book of 2008. I don't know what year it was published but that was the year I read it anyway. I read it in one sitting in fact, it really is quite something. The film is a worthy crack. Well we went to watch Made In Dagenham, about them wimmin. That was alright in fact. And also The Social Network is good, quite full on, never stops moving. Proper internet geeks would find it pornographic.

Just spotted that 4/10 for Fantastic Mr Fox!? hell fire i thought that was genius!!! Wes Andersons finest so far. never read the book tho. kent_white
Watched Machete last night and was throughly entertained for a full 90 minutes. Mindless violence done extremely well, funny script, great cast, visually excellent, 3 beheadings and a pair of baps out within the first 3 minutes. This film has sort of gone under the radar a bit, but if you like Tarantino/Rodriguez then I'm sure you'll love it. Enjoy!

DLH
I've recently joined lovefilm, so been doing a good recap on some golden oldies, and a few more recent ones. The remake of The Crazies is worth a watch. Watched Legion the other day, which was very much "meh", ditto or the Clash of the Titans, it just seemed a lot better as a kid with the bloke out of LA Law...
