For anyone who aint seen 'em, 3 I can recommend are,

Wilderness, Pan's Labyrinth (Spanish) and another Shane Meadows film from a few years back, A Room For Romeo Brass.

not seen wilderness but def recommend the last 2

the bad guy in pan's labyrinth and paddy considine in RFRB are both top notch performances

Tis a quality film but could've been much better although much longer if they kept to the book.

Might've been better as a HBO mini series.

watched directors cut last night, 24 extra minutes, takes it up to 3 hrs which to be honest was a bit too long

I was forced by some younger people to go and watch Salt last week becasue I was the only one with a car.. It is wank beyond description and Angelina Jolie, I'm very sorry, is not that attractive.

In fact, there has been bollocks all on of late. I last went to see Please Give, which was good and next

up I think will be My Son, My Son, What Have You Done?

Might see what's on at The Cornerhouse whilst I'm in Manchester in a week or two.

that's why i thought a mini series might've been better as a Watchman fan, i understand why they didn't go down that route but still.

Watched Melinda and Melinda on the flight back from Reykjavik, was pretty decent fayre.

Once upon a time in the west midlands was on whilst we were away and was good n'all.

Finally watched Shutter Island t'other night, thought it were belting.

aye, wouldn't have worked as a mini series for me, would've ended up with too much filler

and shutter island, aye, tis ace

watched Rendition last night - not bad, not as good as it could have been, but based on true story so pretty interesting none the less
