Zico Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Can't see the remake being better than the original in any respect. In fact the trailer looks as if it's an almost carbon copy.  I will only watch it to see how much they have ruined it  I expect they will leave out the pedophile aspect of that bloke who looks after her  And the scene were he catches a glimpse of her "sewn up"  Other than Ring and Univited, never seen a decent Hollywood remake  Watched The Hurt Locker yesterday, decent enough but Avatar was hard done by at the oscars, not surprising though given what it's about Quote
DLH Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Watched The Damned United a couple of times this week, and it's very good. Â Disappointing compared to the book though.. Â Watch Frost/Nixon however if you want to see Michael Sheen in a cracking film Quote
Loft Nuthouse Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I'm watching Tell No One after me tea, on Zico's recommend. Quote

Alf Hartigan Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 if id seen this earlier id have saved 2 hours of your life  what a load of shite   he'd have watched it anyway,  but despite my earlier comment about the hostage scene, i also thought it was shite.  enjoyed the book though. Quote

magic legs Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I watched the Dragon Tattoo one at the weekend and thought it was ok - 6/10 maybe. Â I also watched Logan's Run, taped off Film 4. My God that was a despicably bad film. Quote

enzo gambaro Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I will only watch it to see how much they have ruined it Article in the Telegraph on Saturday said it bucks the trend of Hollywood remakes and is better than the Swedish original. Â Won't be better than the book, though. Quote
