He is just the next in a long line of typical English center forwards, holds the ball up well, good in the air, works hard, physical but ultimately nearly every team in South Africa and other major competitions had/will have more technically gifted strikers.

Great recognotion for Kevin Davies and the club, hope he gets a shirt on to recognise the graft he has put in.

Probably a few years too late. Would have got in before that donkey Heskey if he'd played for a fashionable club.

 

I hope he gets some playing time. Once he's got it you can't take the cap away and it will be a magnificent achievement for a decent, honest player who always gives 100%.
