We need a Kevin Davis. He was all over the opposition all the time. They never got a minute.

The last goal of that clip summed us up.

Ball up to SKD , his arms all over the defender , pin point header across to CYL and celebrate.

Life was simpler in those days.

Some footage from our 1-4 defeat to Liverpool near the end of the 1978/79 season . I haven't come across this footage before.

Wow. Brilliant. The fact the footage exists not the results. One memory of that game is the weird screeching noise the scousers on the Embankment made that day

I do like stumbling across unseen footage from this era . Funny to think Liverpool only conceded 16 league goals looking at the own goal.

Did Bradford bring any fans to this? Or were the away fans somewhere other than the Normid corner?

They'll have had that little bit on the Burnden paddock.

Anything from 74-80 is just gold dust for me. Such little footage from such a great era. Soon as I see it a memory is sparked in one way or another. Think it’s because I was a young teenager so taking in everything- the match, the crowd, everything

Very possibly , it's funny watching some of Paul Hanleys  video's how certain thing jog the memory.

Indeed. You see a goal or something else and know exactly where you were stood or sat

BSA vs Sunderland. Supermac’s goal in the FA Cup. Julian Darby vs Stoke. Chelsea invading and taking over Burnden

As I mentioned in a different thread a good while ago, I did some dementia training and it’s good to watch these videos and recall these memories as provoking them keeps your brain alive to put it in simple terms

Think this was just before Xmas 92? I was home from Uni and bumped into a good mate who'd gone. We'd both gone through the disaster of the 80s together (miserable crowds of 4-5000).

He was adamant this team was going places and it felt such a relief.

Superb to see this and the away game. That home game we barely touched the ball. They showed their class. I remember my old Dad saying ruefully "It feels like they've got 15 players on the pitch".

Some extended footage from the first leg win at Wigan in the FRT semi final first leg

What a great night. Weird memory (I think) was the chant “we’ve got radiation we’ve got radiation you’ve not” to the Wigan fans under their shed roof as it started raining. The game was the week after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster when I think the weather systems had spread the radiation cloud over the UK? Or perhaps I’ve made this up 🤷‍♂️.

Should have been 7-1 , nothing wrong with Scot Sellars goal

Wasn’t the disallowed seventh goal another for Scot Taylor?
