itk_FACT Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Larsson would be high wages for an ordinary player. & Goalkeeper is the one position we don't need to look externally for. On the Blackpool front, Adam is on his way to better things. That just leaves Campbell who has scored c.12 a relegated team, but wouldn't score anywhere near as many in our side.

TheReebokBear Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Gardner is a very average midfielder who scores some great goals. He'd be okay, but not great. Johnson is solid and better than we have (once Cahill goes), but isn't as good as is claimed.

You're right, we're aiming too low, trying to get the best from the relegated teams. Arsenal will be letting a few go, how about Arshavin, Nasri & Djourou?
