SpiritofBurnden Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/wanderersnews/9078722.Villa_ready_to_turn_to_Coyle/ But Villa owner Randy Lerner was unimpressed with the way Hughes walked out on Fulham So he's obviously not aware of the circumstances in which Coyle left Burnley then?
Carlos Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Shocking that Hughes should see out his contract and leave, fucking scandalous.
SalfordOriginal Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Shocking that Hughes should see out his contract and leave, fucking scandalous. Especially after the show of faith Fulham had in him in offering a one year with an option for another. I wonder what would have happened if it all went wrong and they went down last season?? I guess they would have renewed with a 3 year extensions
snowball Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Whelen is a complete and utter cunt. He always manages to kid gullable people into liking him too. I wouldnt piss on that twat if he was on fire. Quite right. Wiggin- a turd that won't flush as someone on here eloquently put it and its cuddly Dave who keeps them afloat.
Guest Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Shocking that Hughes should see out his contract and leave, fucking scandalous. So, he didn't leave, just saw out his contract, like a Bosman
superjohnmcginlay Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Mcleish quits Birmingham, off to Villa then? when?
Eddie Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Mcleish quits Birmingham, off to Villa then? My Villa mates are going mental! Not only was he the manager of the Blues, but he is also "fucking shit and negative, and got she scum relegated". Theres got to be something wrong behind the scenes if he's the best they could get.
Danny G Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 If I was a betting man I would lay the fuck out of McLeish, there is no way the Villa board would appoint him surely?
superjohnmcginlay Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 If I was a betting man I would lay the fuck out of McLeish, there is no way the Villa board would appoint him surely? He wouldnt resign without going somewhere would he? He just signed Marlon King too?
Eddie Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 If I was a betting man I would lay the fuck out of McLeish, there is no way the Villa board would appoint him surely? It was only 2 weeks ago that McCleish was saying that he really wanted to stay at Brum. There have been rumours all over Birmingham for the last 2 days about it. No smoke without fire IMO, and I for one would love to see him go there.
no balls Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 He wouldnt resign without going somewhere would he? He just signed Marlon King too? He should've been sacked for that alone.
passmosster Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 No smoke without fire IMO, and I for one would love to see him go there. Pop go the 2nd City/ Carlo Ancelotti for us delusions of grandeur. They're almost as bad as City. Without the Manc lip is their one plus.
Danny G Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 He wouldnt resign without going somewhere would he? He just signed Marlon King too? Mark Hughes?
superjohnmcginlay Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 True , the Hughes resignation is very odd then if he doesnt take the Villa job which it doesnt look like. with McCleish he ahs left a couple of days after signing someone and appeared to be happy at Brum
no balls Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Maybe Hughes thought he was going to get a job he's now not. I haven't a clue to be honest, but it's close season so I see no reason why I can't just make something up and pass it off as ITK FACT.
DC08WFC Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Hughes was out of contract so it wasn't a resignation as such, he just walked away. But McLeish resigning is abit odd, can't see Birmingham being too happy if he goes to Villa, they'll be missing out on a compensation package.
no balls Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 It is indeed a bit odd. Via an email. He's in the enviable position of being able to tell his boss to stuff his job if he doesn't like what they're doing though.
THunter Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 McCleish was interviewed on the radio just after the season ended. Sounded very pissed off and said he was going away to think about his future. Anyone who'd heard that interview wouldn't be surprised at his resignation.
DazBob Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Hilarious. Must admit, if I was a Villa fan I'd be absolutely furious. ... but I'm not, so I think it's brilliant.
