Curling is plain odd, been in France the last month and I don't understand why they go on strike all the time if all they do is play petanque, rugby union needless to say, but big grand event as it is 90% of the Olympics will send you to sleep. Anyway, It has to be horse racing for me.

I always thought Horse Racing, until you've got some money on it and start to take an interest and then it's a whole different ball game.

 

Whoever said golf, well I suppose everyone has their own opinion, but mine is that it's a brilliant sport and the crowds at the big events would suggest it is also quite exciting.

 

For me it's county cricket! I can watch an England test match all day, but anything other than that bores me silly, the crowds at county cricket games suggest that as well.

Can't believe some said horse racing. Even without the punt I love it. The pageantry and the magnificence of the animal itself. Man and beast in perfect harmony (cue the perverts) in the quest for perfection (anyone who saw Pat Taaffe and Arkle will know exactly what I mean).

 

Besides all that, the economic aspect. Horse racing is, reportedly, the third largest employer in Australia.

i used to hate horse racing, would piss me right off when it cam on 909, during the footy results.

Happen it's just me. Though having said that, when you go to the big tournaments it's full of attractive middle aged men, so that might have something to do with it.

At the risk of being ridiculed, Baseball isn't boring at all... once you fully understand it.

 

I've watched the Atlanta Braves a few times and after getting over the initial expectation that there would be a rounder scored every other ball, and then started to "get" the tactics, it's actually quite, erm, interesting.

 

The only down side is that it takes so long due to all the sponsorship breaks and the like. Oh, and the constant need for crowd participation is pretty annoying too. Them Americans have no attention span.

They dont throw the ball at you at 90+ mph in rounders thats why woman play rounders, they use a round bat in baseball (makes it harder to hit the 90+ mph) they use a flat bat in rounders again to make it easyer for the woman to hit it
