Chelsea however will not pay him the type of cash he could expect if he went on a free as they are having to pay us ?7m.

According the the financial times, that's a case of tough shit I wouldn't buy shares on the back of an emotional involvement in a million years. Those who did, it seems, lost out. Move on.
December 30, 201114 yr If we are looking at Dunne as the replacement for Cahill, that what is the 'Master Plan' I thought we were building a younger team in the transfer window ? And that's why all our 'older' players are out of contract at the end of the season.. Is there a plan or they just plain clueless ? Dunne is older than all our players apart from SKD, and he's far too slow and a definite liability And he hasn't shored up Villa's defence that well either !!!!
December 30, 201114 yr My understanding is that this Tim Ream fellow is the replacement for Cahill, there is a rumour on Newsnow that Dunne has been linked with us (on some shoddy arse Vital Villa jobby). I thought we would have gone for that Nedum Onuah fella but he aint had a mention.
