After Saturday's superb victory how would you play it for Saturday's FA cup tie vs Swansea? Do we rest the team ahead of Arsenal at home? Do we play our best team and go for it? Or do we play half and half and hope for the best?

I don't want to give Swansea an easy ride into the next round but I don't want to balls the team up for Wednesday either.

 

Fuck it, unchanged team against Swansea and batter them, unchanged again against Gooners and batter them too. Simples.

After the shit Megson went through playing a weakened team is a no go for me :-)

unchanged, especially at the back. have a look at resting some legs midway through the 2nd half if we are in a comfortable position

That did cross my mind too. Its a tough decision for Coyle this. I keep changing my mind on what I would do!

 

Tim Ream should get his debut if he signs in time imo.

Same team. Then bring Mark Davies, Ngog & Muamba/Reo Coker off in second half when 2-0 up.

 

Maybe give Alonso a start if fit and keep Ricketts fresh.

Play our best team. Let's get the confidence of a run going. The FA Cup can be a positive distraction for our boys this season.

 

We have to look at the remaining fixtures, do the sums and think that a point against Arsenal will be a very good result.

 

In fairness, I reckon there's 22-26 points to be had before the end of the season.

yeah ngog needs a run of games, and the chance to get some goals.

Hes had a good couple of performances, his confidence will be built up and he needs to keep that going

Pick the same 11 and build on the confidence; not including the injured players thats our best 11 at the moment

Ngog and Mavies starting to look like they are getting an understanding, as do Knight and Wheater.

Onwards and upwards

So the balance is keep the defence playing together. We don't know whether anyone is carrying a knock, but perhaps only those under treatment should be considered for resting.

When is Jussi likely to be fit to warm the bench? If he is fit, should he be given an outing (as second string), or should Bogdan be given a clear run to gain valuable experience? I'd prefer to stick with Bogdan.

Maybe Tuncay in for Eagles, and Riley for Steinsson, but other than that no other changes for me, don't think any of the other changes in the Macclesfield games did enough to warrant another chance.

If OC changes anything for Swansea he is on a hiding to nowt. Leave it is it is, for me and go for both the swans and the goons. A good performance at weekend will get the crowd in form for Wednesday. Last thing OC wants is the crowd on his back again.

4 changes max for me - am sure if we play 4-5-1 there's scope to rest 4 players, particulary 2 from the middle - bearing in mind Arsenal is midweek next week - confidence v fatigue i guess
