Think I said around the time of Gary Speed's death what a tough time SKD has had as club captain the last 15 months now.

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but one other positive thing that might come of this awful event might be that footballers will stop feigning injury now that they've seen the sheer trauma and emotion that a genuine incident can generate.It might not stop some but hope it makes others stop crying wolf.

Hopefully as well this incident will make a few of our fans grow up. Maybe some will think before singing about aeroplanes or dead chairmen.

One thing is for sure, when we do eventually start playing football again, our opponents are likely to behave in different, almost sympathetic manner. As a whole, we need to learn a bit of humility.

Seeing Owen Coyle giving a statement sunday morning, still in his matchday bwfc shorts and jumper did it for me. He has been there every minute, wouldn't want anyone else in charge at this moment.
