Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Stone cold sober

Oddly, autumn seems to have come early down here too. February is usually frying time and I fucking hate it. For about a week now we have been having lovely cool nights and pleasant days in the mid to high 20's which doesn't usually start until mid-March.

I reckon that Hadron Collider has fucked up the space/time continuum which is why they've shut the fucker down for two years. Hermann Minkowski has a lot to answer for. Don't mess with stuff.

Bollocks to football and rugby- today was magnificent.

Actually working briefly in skins. Get some sun while you can.

And it's still February.

Great for the soul.

Been watching stuff on Sky UK etc. Weather looks amazing for February.

Car was showing 18 degrees.

Presumably higher in direct sunlight. Quite ridiculous really.

Been pleasant to see kids re-emerging to play out and neighbours starting to do stuff outside.

Great time of year, outdoor life starting again, just a month or two early!

Could even get a rhubarb harvest early march- madness.

One thing Iv'e liked about this weather has been taking my mam around the lovely gardens at the hospice for a nice walk and seeing and hearing all the songbirds in full chirp.

Almost 21 degrees in places today, the Beast from the East landed a year ago tomorrow!

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction ;)

Watching the league Cup final and thinking we had a glorious day too in 95.

But that was in April not February.

We do

In fact we have more than one set of definitions

Well, that we have differeing definitions surely means we don't have one defined version.

Without much googling, it seems that the Met Office hae made up the Meteorological seasons. As I say, we don't have defined seasons!

The BBC itself acknowledges 3 definitions!

Damned time difference. Beat me to it. ;)

Van thermometer read 25 degrees earlier. Ok it was in the sun but bloody hell, it's February.

Are we not having a summer's day then today 😟

Summer's finished now.

A walk round the lodges brought Keats to mind.

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness...

Welcome autumn.

I was, until the bastard dogs lept into my newly prepared and planted strawberry bed, and dug the buggers up.

I'm tempted to open a pop up Korean street food place.
