Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

It's starting. Freya on her way.

Batten down the hatches Gonzo.

It's returned. 39 fucking degrees here today on a Bank Holiday.

Can't wait to get past mid March.

Absolutely. I listened to several days of warnings and apart from a few hearty gusts over the space of a few hours it was uneventful.

A neighbour's been blown over, surely. :D

Still enough wind to fuck up the overhead wires theyve just spent 43 years installing between Bolton and Salford.

I bet the Pacer trains are chuckling.:D

Locusts and frogs. I think that's all we've not had today. Yet.

Snow flakes earlier this morning were bigger than any I've ever seen.

Winter hill looked picture post card, but glad it didn't persist lower down.

She was out with the dogs in that. Oh how I smiled when I saw the horizontal white stuff and the crashing and banging.😁😁

I was just coming off the M61 en route to Ask Italian at Middlebrook and the entire sky just went bright purple for a split second, fucking shit myself. Then came the hailstone!

Did it emanate from the uniBolt? :)

(Ken venting his frustration).

Storm Gareth on its way

Can’t say I’m looking forward to driving back from Glasgow tomorrow afternoon

Now that’s some wind. Fookin ell

Average 65-70 here now with 90 gusts.

Sounds like a fuckin tornado.

Got in a bit earlier from Glasgow. That's the worst I've known driving over Shap summit. Fook me how some of those wagon drivers managed to stay on the road coming down past Tebay is beyond me. Full credit to them. Their trailers were really wobbling. Worst bit was that section of the M6 passing Morecambe Bay where it's open all the way across to the sea - convinced that gonzo, you will end up on the Yellow Brick Road in Kansas mate

Well, that's my fence gone.
