Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

I can tolerate most heat it's dry

Can't do humidity

A good storm is needed with decent lightening so I can watch it whilst the other half watches the wimmins footy

I've just checked lightning maps: you're out of luck. Wales border storm seems to have stopped and that's your lot.

Best lightening storm I saw was in Croatia

Could see it coming from miles off. Was sat in bar and watched it all pass overhead whilst getting soaked. The other half went indoors

And in typical abroad weather fashion about an hour later you would never had known it had rained

Absolutely lashed it down here for a while yesterday.

You could smell the humidity in the air.

Total dog shit now. Got out early doors to try to beat the rain. Took more than twice as long to mow some grass than normal, clogging up and pissed wet through.

Just sacked it now. But the cricket is wank now. :(

No rain in the shires yesterday.....earlier though I drove up to Lutterworth, and it was like the world was ending with torrential rain everywhere, all the roads flooded. Back home now, and we've just had a little downpour that lasted about 10 minutes, which was nice for the lawns and the plants, hopefully the good weather is on its way now!!!

Get the sun cream out - it looks like our 3 day summer is finally here!

Finally!!! Out on the bike on Saturday on the Fylde coast. Hoping for a nice southerly breeze to help me back to Fleetwood on the return leg

gonzo - is the work all finished on the prom up near Rossall now? Not been for a while

Have you seen the forecast?

29 degrees, with a real feel of 35 because of the humidity!

Good luck!

Yep. Going early morning to avoid the heat and hoping a bit cooler on the coast

Real Betty Swollocks conditions. Some serious chafing risk.

Hope you enjoy your day.

Still not sure you can get all the way through yet mate. The stuff at Norbreck into cleveleys is all finished now, you can ride down on to the lower walk and ride straight through to cleveleys.

Bit of cloud cover tomorrow and a cool north breeze. Perfecto 👍🏻

rain needed asap

You're surely taking the piss? It's been utter shite this summer and you're asking for rain after about 28 minutes of sun...nay, lad 😐

Did a 26 minute run in similar weather in Paphos this morning (thinly veiled). Good job the afternoon was spent on an all inclusive brewery tour featuring unlimited beers/ciders and a four course barbecue. Other half is currently passed out on the couch in our hotel room.

Good effort.

What temp is it there?

Currently 29 degrees (17:30) but the ‘feels like’ temperature is 39.

That's more than enough for me. How the frogs are going on with 44 or so God knows.

They’ve got pure sun-driven heat as well rather than humidity. Could fry an egg. Didn’t realise until last week that 13,000 French died in the last similar heatwave in 2003. That sort of stuff should be an international scandal.

After what Macron said re Brexit, the answer is unquestionably.....tough shit :D

Went again today. Christ they must have spent millions on those improvements. Brilliant now. Just that one short section not completed but like you say easy enough to divert. First time in my life I’ve ever seen the tide fully out at Fleetwood

Massive mistake today though. Did Fleetwood to Pleasure Beach and back. Fuck me that was a hard 15 miles back into a stiff North Westerly. Covered in salt and sand at the end
