Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Seemed like constant thunder for 5 minutes in Howfen. Passed through now.

Love a good storm.

Wonder what time broadband will fail again!

Why the fuck is your broadband off because of thunder? You live in the sticks?

Dunno, and no.

Did it last year too.

Comes back on then off, and repeat. A couple interruptions during viewing on iPlayer because of it.

Did the same for both storms last yesterday, and I expect the same today.

Someone will be along to explain it.

Mint this weather 😎

What's with the western areas of our town?

Just been up to Heaton, and there are piles of debris in the gutters and a small lake on CNR.

Was the rain that bad yesterday?

And yes, it rained heavily whilst I was there, got back home and it stopped. :)

How’s the weather?

Sounded like the sky just ripped in two

Biblical rain in the centre of Bolton, but no lightning or thunder

Be cracking flags in a hour or two of course

How do the animals take the noise?

Our dogs seem fairly chilled until a really close strike and bang, then they shit it.

Seen any flashes?

Plenty of them too!

Could be worse, parts of Wales under attack from mother nature.

Dog hates it. Absolutely hates it.
Chicks are inside because they can get stressed from the noise

Here too. Just got very heavy, but easing slightly.

Started researching chicken coops etc, looks like it's a goer, though preparation to be done first.

It’s great I love it. Little un gets involved, Mrs is enjoying it even though she was against it at first.

Just waiting for them to get old enough for eggs now.

Got a new pup coming in two weeks. That’ll be fun

Need to move a greenhouse, fruit plants, rocks, and possibly dig a new pond, before any chicken installations occur.

Wife's been after them for years, so I told her me and the lad would sort it for her birthday. Got till December, but it will soon disappear.

If I'd dug the pond already, it would have been full now!

I was gonna suggest growing some plants but that’s realistic during lockdown but not when I’m back at work.

Id love a pond but not with the little un

Was on seven acres with the mutt while it was all going on, love being out in a storm. Also the added bonus of there not being any other fuckers around, not had many walks with that luxury for 2 or 3 months now.

Seven Acres?

Jules Darby's back garden?
