Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

No chance.

I reckon I could wring out my boxers and fill blue lagoon with sweat after work today

Oiled up and chilling in the sun

The air is just still tonight, there is absolutely no breeze.

Going to be an uncomfortable sleep methinks

Went for a walk for an hour just after 8. Lovely to be out and about at that time and having free reign down the canal.

Now sat in the back garden because the house is too bloody hot.

Other half is off work until Tuesday so going to brave Blackpool tomorrow. Pleasure Beach to Bispham and back again and just hope to keep out of people’s way as much as possible.

Correct, sleep was a struggle last night. At about 1.30 the Mrs sat up and said she was getting a wet flannel, unfortunately she didn't mean what I first thought.

Excellent.

Forecast had us as being the warmest area in the country overnight tonight. :(

Storms tomorrow; can't wait, it's a bit too much is this.

Lovely breeze on the prom at Blackpool today. First time I’ve ever seen the beach busier than the prom, but all very sensibly distanced it has to be said.

This is more like it 😊

Still humid as buggery though.

It is. Got a fan aimed at my head. Sun's out as well now.

It’s like a sauna here In bury fucking brutal. Thundering like mad back home. But much cooler than here. Needs to proper piss down to clear the air

Sweating like fuck just from mowing the lawn. Looks like relief may be on the way tho, can see some dirty clouds heading over.

And as I type that, sure I can hear thunder and maybe felt a drop of rain

Definitely got darker, the Mrs has already pulled the trigger on bringing washing in.

A lightning bolt just touched ground in Horwich. Nasty.
