Got up to the lodge with the first dog this morning, and it was quite calm.

By the time I'd walked around to the other sides, the waves were the best part of a foot high!

Back with another dog later, and just a gentle ripple.

That said, it's so mild, there were lots of birds singing when out with the hounds- resembled very early spring when things just start warming up.

No wind, clear blue sky and 70c plus in the day here but fires gone on now it’s a bit nippy at night.

Joking apart; it was a seriously rough night.

The damage in Stalybridge is quite a sight.

Another storm coming through on Saturday/Sunday.

My garden has never had standing water in areas it currently has.
