  • With Richard Dunne out for the season, we have lost one of our main goal threats.

happy days...

rode it first half...but fuck me i was a bag of nerves

Just watching on sky+, very classy of Villa fans having the 6th minute and 19th minute applause.

reet, we were absolute fcuking dogshit for the first half

not sure what we were playing but it wasn't anything like a football team

looked like 4-1-5 to me

absolutely, completely battered

eagles is miles better than myaichi

if that lad has a top level career i'll be on the town hall steps

and kevin davies, i'd written him off, bigtime, but his performances at newcastle and villa have been great

so, great sub, but fcuking obvious one, to be fair

why oh why oh why did he bring klasnic on - was crying out for some pace up front or an additional body into midfield

alonso had a good 5 minutes

saturday, play like that again and it'll be 4-0 defeat

What a top day and night had a few drinks round Brum Villa fans for me are always a class act nothing like Brum fans, first half we were rubbish but soon as KD came on he caused loads of trouble, when they scored I thought this team going to take us down, from the kick off you could see they were hurt and they came back like a wounded animal, Eagles for me was immense, I was proud to be one of the 1100 whites who went and who have not thrown the towel in they ,were the Bolton 12th man and well done to each and every one of you. To quote a legend what a team what a night what a ding dong doo.

dubai seems to have brought them together

Cracking night. Kevin Davies caused no end of problems for them when he came on. He is showing the fight and the bottle this team needs to stay up.

can't fault any of them in the end to be honest although 1 or 2 of them had shocking first halfs everyone pulled there finger out second half and earnt that win. Did anyone know that Villa fans don't like McLeish?

Well that was a roller coaster of emotions !!

Can't believe that we didn't concede in the first half, thought we defended ok but nothing interlinking the defence and forward line.

Rio had another poor game and Coyle was spot on to take him off at half time.

But then, cometh the hour, cometh the man - what a change and take a bow Mr Davies.

Changed the game. Brought the wingers into it, Eagles and Petrov having some great runs.

NRC I thought lacked his usual quality, giving the ball away a lot. But fair, play to them all for digging in and grinding out a result.

Next stop - Sunderland. Come on !!

Cracking result last night, who cares about the first half performance last night! We dug in and got the result we needed and dragged Villa into the mire in the process.

All aboard the Sunderland trip now and lets follow this up with another win - and hopefully have ourselves outside the bottom 3 going into our game in hand. Every time I try to work out how many points we need, I come to a different total. Lets just take full advantage of our 2 away games and hope we nick something at home!

Bolton will be playing 4 -4 fucking 2!

Bloody hell, well done you crap buggers. Good win !

You have to stay up, what will I do without your mob in our league !!!!

fuck me what a night...

apart from getting stuck in traffic all the way there thanks to inconsiderate wankers having car fires....

can only echo sentiments said elsewhere really.

that last night is up there with the boro and stoke games for me....

bolton fans on top form....although had to tell a group of dimwits to stop shouting 'heskey for england' as hes bound to fucking score if they sing that!

that last 20 minutes felt like torture, doesnt help with the clock directly in your eye line!...from my viewpoint i near enough had to look at the floor to not look at the clock!

anyway, well done white men, keep it up....

COYWM.....

It is all about results, however we get them.......miserable cunt.

Did not go last night but Coyle made changes that improved the team, he did the same at Wolves throughout the season he has got subs wrong in games in these games they have gone well.

It seems a fresh SKD can have some impact on our season, be interesting what team starts at sunland, people on here talked about skd as an impact sub, I never saw that but it is clear he can do this job well. I thought he was doing ok v swansea as well when he started.

NRC I thought lacked his usual quality, giving the ball away a lot.

The lad looked shattered; not the time to be debating whether he should have played pretty much every game (including cups) but some very tired passes first half especially.

Was very happy to see Heskey go off, not much threat from them after that. Ream made some great blocks first half and played very well, but wonder if his aerial weakness will cost us soon.

SKD was outstanding, but think Eagles MOM for me, fair play to him. Great support from the whites that were there too. All the night needed was beer onsale

YEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHSHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

JFDLSSSSSBSV!

get in

Fantastic night.

Villa are well in it now, Mcleish got more abuse than Megson ever did. Not a happy ship.

Never thought l would say this but Eagles was immense last night.

Forget the first half, but SKD, Wheater, Eagles, Petrov and Ream were all superb second half. We played with 10 men first half, once again Miyaichi was awful. Although I did miss the first 10min sat on M6.

Listening in on the Villa fans coming out the ground, a lot of them don?t even think they will get another point this season. I tend to agree:

West Brom A

Spurs H

Norwich A

Great to have another team in the mix. One game at a time roll on Sunderland with SKD up front.

It is all about results, however we get them.......miserable cunt.

indeed it is

we need some more results and i'm fearful we'll not get em

we did great second half - never a penalty, mind but we should've been out of it after 10 minutes

we really were dreadful

Fuck me what a night! Gonzo also saw the car fire on motorway, looked grim as fuck.

Loved the atmosphere last night, we were really loud throughout the game l. I also can't quiet remember a reaction the same ad when our 2nd wbt in. The feeling of pure euphoria could have been bottled up right there!

Great effor from the fans an lads in the 2nd half. Loved the tables turning on the brummies in the space of 2mins. Last night is why I'm always continue to follow our team up and down the country, even in the bleakest of times . You can't replicate that feeling of being there, in amongst your own COYFM ....

They all laugh at us. BORN TO BE A WANDERER !

Are they wrong, then?

I've only seen match highlights and am all for the manager getting the plaudits for getting things right if he gets the brickbats when things go wrong. It just seemed ironic that Coyle is constantly bemoaned for having little or no tactical nous but is lauded by supporters of a team with an inept manager.

I know you were sat further back than me but your eye sight must be going!!!

Cracking win that, thought Coyle did well at half time on two points. Heskey was the main reason we were getting peppered first half and in the second we seemed to get the defenders to back off him and have NRC closest man to him so we could pick up more of the second balls. SKD was also immense.

Well done to Mavies for getting into the position to win the penalty as his head could have gone down after his man left him to put Villa in front. Eagles still frustrates me as a player, brilliant for 15 mins but I thought he was very poor at other times and head goes down to often after giving the ball away but his part in the goals deserves plenty of credit.

Played well at Newcastle got nothing, played worse last night and got 3 points and second half was a decent showing away from home.
