DazBob Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 My point is, that if clubs stuck together, these money grabbers wouldn't be able make their ludicrous last minute demands so easily. I hope he does end up without a wage. Which again, was my point. Your naivety is charming. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 If we do, he'll nip to another country and demand a big wage. Ultimately clubs aren't on a level playing field - and don't want to be either. You'e not going to get an Arab sheik opting to stick together to pay less wages. They're in it to win things, not win friends. Anyway, if that was the case he'd have gone to Reading to play Premier League footie, not come to us. Quote
superkev Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 We have rejected a bid from Swansea for Mark Davies apparently. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 We have rejected a bid from Swansea for Mark Davies apparently. It's oh so predictable, I've mentioned that Davies won't be here come the end of the window, if he and Chung yong are allowed to leave it might be quite a while before I darken the door at the Reebok. Quote
Big E Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 It's oh so predictable, I've mentioned that Davies won't be here come the end of the window, if he and Chung yong are allowed to leave it might be quite a while before I darken the door at the Reebok. So because we sell a player for a price which is deemed good enough would stop you going? Come on mounts you are better than that Quote
wayne cramp Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Fook me, you would have to be in the world of diddles if you were upset at selling davies for 8 mill Quote
HoldensHairdo Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Sanchez deal has another twist maybe??!! Update soon on BN Quote
Flannel Truscott Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 It's oh so predictable, I've mentioned that Davies won't be here come the end of the window, if he and Chung yong are allowed to leave it might be quite a while before I darken the door at the Reebok. You're annoyed at BWFC because they have REFUSED a bid from another club? No please some people. Quote
Ratwhite Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Sanchez deal has another twist maybe??!! Update soon on BN Yeah the fucking agent and the player appear to be twisted. Fuck em, If he wanted to come it would have happened. Quote
L/H White Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Sanchez deal has another twist maybe??!! Update soon on BN Agent asked for his wages to be doubled at the last minute, according to the wireless this morning. Quote
DazBob Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 You're annoyed at BWFC because they have REFUSED a bid from another club? No please some people. I thought the same. Surely 'predictable' would mean accepting the bid, not refusing it. Garslime out. Quote
miamiwhite Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 paul scharner is meant to be in talks, and that chelsea midfielder as well josh thingymibob, for when mark davies and mounts kipper leave the reebok Quote
Arnold Jackson Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 when mark davies and mounts kipper leave the reebok Chungy, Mark Davies and more importantly Mounts will all be at the Reebok for the first home game Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 So because we sell a player for a price which is deemed good enough would stop you going? Come on mounts you are better than that Its not the value of the player that is my bug bear it will be promises broken that we keep ours better players. I won't stop supporting Bolton and I will go to watch the whites but it will be less important and be on my terms as and when I fancy it. I don't trust Gartside to keep his word his words are hollow and it's time he fell on his own sword. Quote
Garrp Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Chill mounts, itd been rejected:) Lets wait and see... Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 You're annoyed at BWFC because they have REFUSED a bid from another club? No please some people. It's a matter of time in my opinion, we have seen it too many times, BWFC trade on the naively and goodwill of the few thousand top fans that have supported the club through thick and thin, enough is enough. Quote
superkev Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Every club denies their players are going anywhere, not just us. Wenger being prime example. Fabregas is staying, nasri and now van persie. Quote

I hear what u say but I'm also pretty sure the club don't set out to fail Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Another reason not to sell is we clearly have difficulty attracting the quality of players we need to get us out of this division. Quote
Zico Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Every club denies their players are going anywhere, not just us. Wenger being prime example. Fabregas is staying, nasri and now van persie. In arsenals case it's always the player that wants out Would seem mark Davies is ok about staying and the bid has been rejected by the club So it's all really a case of how much swansea want him, if they make us/him an offer that'd be stupid to turn down then so be it, but so far there's nowt to worry about Quote
HomerJay Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Wouldn't be suprised to see Swansea struggle massively next season Hopefully mavies thinks the same Quote

Guest Blixa Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Wouldn't be suprised to see Swansea struggle massively next season Hopefully mavies thinks the same New manager, second season syndrome, lost key players - nailed on to struggle. Quote
birch-chorley Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Chungy I would be gutted about An overweight Mavies who struggles in a two man central midfield for silly money like £8m quid and the car would be running Quote
