September 15, 201213 yr The point being made is that the disaster occured AFTER hundreds of ticketless fans started to force their way into the full part of the ground. All this blame and shame stuff about Police etc is AFTER the thing had reached the point of no return. It starting to make my blood boil the more I read when it is clear that not a single one of the turnstile jumpers or those that climbed walls and went in through open gates have ever put their hand up and said that they may have contributed. Its always easy to shift blame with any disater onto those who we all knew where there such as the Police and Ambulance people because they would have been the only ones whose names appeared on written work rosters. Also the statements where changed by solicitors which says it all about that proffession. Thing is we will never know how many of the fans that rushed through the gate had tickets and how many didn't. It was a complete fuck up from the start and finished with an abhorrent cover up - that is without question. What some ask though is should those that rushed in, with or without tickets, take any responsibility for the crushing of the fans already in those pens? Is it up to personal conscience?
September 15, 201213 yr I reckon hypothetically you'd blame anyone you could to clear your conscience. Had they acknowledged this poosibility, I think we'd all be fully behind them. As it is, the mere mention of this is classed as #vile. That can't be right.
September 15, 201213 yr Bloody hell just been on Twitter. Some bloke asking bwfc to ban people who've commented on this thread!?

September 15, 201213 yr Hang on a mo. Coppers at that time needed a first aid certificate to get off training, same as firemen. That she was sat cradling this kid rather than 'first-aiding' him is, in itself, rather strange. What are you implying? Hope to god you never have a child dying in your arms. Yet people on here will still claim there is no anti scouse biased. Supposed she was pissed too. not that he need me to answer for him, I dont even know MickyD, but I bet a pound to a piece of shit he has seen more upsetting things in a nights shift that you have in your entire life, maybe even the one described. If you read all the posts, he was implying that he found it strange the article stated the constable said basic first aid would've saved the kid, when, by nature of her being in the job she was in, she was in a position to give that basic first aid rather than sitting holding him. Don't even fuckng go there pal. You have no idea what I have seen or not seen in my life. I was right to ask what he was implying, after what I have been reading. As the other poster said, you have no idea what Michael has seen either. I'm still sensing anger though, pal. Have a minute. true I don't, it's also true I don't care, the only reason you would ask what he was implying was if you couldn't read or you were looking for an argument where there was none. From the article (paraphrased) " basic first aid would/could have saved him" posters query " the person claiming this would/should have had first aid" nothing sinister, nothing anti scouse, just a genuine question, yet you seemed to take issue with it It's already been adequately explained by regular posters who know a little about me and about my job. But, just for the record, if I turned up at a place where my actions as a first-aider could give someone the chance to live, and I opted instead to sit cradling the poor victim to offer some comfort, I'd pretty soon be out of a job. She should have had the lad she cradled on his back and blown whatever life-saving oxygen into his lungs. For you to say there was no oxygen available is bullshit. There is plenty; all around us. We need about 5% of the oxygen we breath. Call the air 24% oxygen, 75% nitrogen and 1% all the rest, Breathe in 25%, use 5% breathe out 20%. Surely you can see that this 20% oxygen could have been used by the lad in question and he could have used 5% and breathed out everything less his 5%. If you can't then fuck off to your evertyon site with the simpletons.
September 15, 201213 yr So we're hanging this lass based on something the Mirror has printed 23 years after the event, are we? Get a fucking grip.
September 15, 201213 yr So we're hanging this lass based on something the Mirror has printed 23 years after the event, are we? Get a fucking grip. We're not hanging anyone. We're arguing about the 'reported' actions of a Special Constable. All I'm saying is that a person with training ought to be using that training. Whether it actually happened or not is not the point. For the visiting Evertonian to then misconstrue my post and decide I'm making light of the Hilsborough disaster required some kind of reply. That others also realised that he'd misunderstood my point and that something needed saying proves my point adequately. This is a discussion forum. We can only discuss the things as reported either within or without Wanderersways. If we then add a bit of personal experience then the threads are, presumably, all the the better for that.
September 15, 201213 yr Regarding all this outrage directed at Wanderersways emanating from Twitter. I find this ironic, as I'd venture this platform and the mentality of those who use it, aren't that far away in nature as headlines like 'The Truth' in The Sun, and the moronic individuals who took this as gospel. It wouldn't surprise me to read some Twatterer who'd actually 'viewed'* this (Wanderersways) site, reporting to his/her fellow dullards: 'Thz makin bad commentz bout Bradford Fire Disaster n' all #sickos' * As in given a quick cursory glance, then given up, due to posts of more than thirty words - including ones correctly spelled and not in txt speak, and that require a reading age of 8+years.
