Guest Blixa Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 OGS gone from 14s to 6s. I imagine it'll be MM until end of season if he accept that though. Perhaps because of Marc Iles' comments since, not that there was much in them. He turned Villa down over the summer because he'd just moved his family back to Norway and didn't want to move again. With that in mind, they're really poor odds. Quote

miamiwhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 11/4 on Sky Bet. I bookies to belived its a 2horse race with OGS and MM so if OGS gets it and we play attractive football, can we be imaginative and shout 'ole' at every opportunity,Dids will be knocking one out over this Quote
L/H White Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Do we think we'll have a replacement by the end of the week? Quote
jonnycooper Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I,d like to see MM get the job,,He,s done great so far at Fleetwood Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I can't see MM until the end of the season he'll definately get a job with a decent contract - rightly or wrongly especially when the prem clubs start shedding managers - i can se us trying to get someone in on a performance based eal though get in the play offs regardless of if we go up you get another year if you get us up you get 2 years - something along those lines that could work and on the OGS thing and turning down villa martinez did the same that is the biggest poison chalice in the prem for me along with liverpool no budget no players massive expectation = no thanks from anyone with a brain Quote
bwfc87 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Looking back, I think you'll find Meggo isn't a backwards step. If you're dreading this, then I wonder (as has been said a few times by a number on here recently) how bad you've seen it. I'm 25 so obviously havn't seen it at it's worse. Just think going for MM would be Megson like appointment and not a long term success. Quote

Arrested development Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Of the candidates mentioned there is nobody that stands out as the obvious choice. All have pro's and cons. Of managers currently in a job i like keith hill and ian holloway. Seems more logical to choose someone out of work so no issue of compo. Quote
radcliffe white Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Ole gunner for me could not give a toss if ex united someone fresh and who can play like Swansea have with laudrup.but deep down I think if lee puts a run together he will have it till end of season and its a cheap option Quote
