No. Did they not think 'heads might roll' and some poor soul would probably lose their job? Did they know this but think: 'Well, it might cost someone their livelihood but fair dinkum it's also 10/20 minutes of airtime sorted' And then to find out it was the same pair of tw*ts who did that 'lie detector' stunt. gonzo Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 And then to find out it was the same pair of tw*ts who did that 'lie detector' stunt. Which was this? Quote
Cheese Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Take it none of you have ever laughed at a "prank" at someone elses expense then? Hypocritical cunts. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 You've got to hand it to the Aussies, they're forthright and to the point. Twats. ...Radio station 2Day FM has previously been in trouble with The Australian Communications and Media Authority for other incidents, including one when a 14-year-old girl was pressured into revealing on air that she had been raped... Edit: It seems it was the same pair responsible for the above... http://www.smh.com.a...8546762075.html Which was this? The one above Gonzo...Click the link. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Take it none of you have ever laughed at a "prank" at someone elses expense then? Hypocritical cunts. Yeah course, I try and get someone the sack at least once a month - keeps spirits up and breaks the tedium. Quote
Andydee Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Take it none of you have ever laughed at a "prank" at someone elses expense then? Hypocritical cunts. Loads of times but nobody died! Quote
gonzo Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 The one above Gonzo...Click the link. Fucking Jesus, thats not good. I thought Steve Penk was controversial!! Quote
Cheese Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Anyone having a go at those Australian radio people is a fucking prick. They might be a pair of twats, but they've done no worse than what Jeremy Beadle made a career out of in the 80's, or that Phone Jacker bloke recently, or fucking countless other "pranksters". Quote
Cheese Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) Loads of times but nobody died! Exactly. That's my point. Edited December 7, 2012 by Cheese Quote
Casino Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 and its andys somebody did die its like when thumping somebody turns into manslaughter Quote
Cheese Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 and its andys somebody did die its like when thumping somebody turns into manslaughter Same fucking thing. You either don't thump people, or you accept the potential consequences. Every time you've ever laughted at a "joke" at someone elses expense, the victim of the joke could've gone home and topped themselves. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Further reading reveals it was different pair of DJs, a bad link elsewhere, same radio station though... Quote
Sweep Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 It seems to have got you very irate Cheese, perhaps you should calm down a bit Quote

You're regularly bullied and laughed at aren't you? Explains everything. Quote
Cheese Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 It seems to have got you very irate Cheese, perhaps you should calm down a bit Don't worry about me mate. I'm calm as owt. Seems impossible to talk rationally on here without being told to calm down. Quote

You keep sidestepping the point - it was likely to cost someone their job. Instead it's gone one better and they've ended their life, there may have been other contributing factors granted. Answer this, is is acceptable to have a 'laugh' if it means someone's likely to be sacked as a result? Edited December 7, 2012 by Youri McAnespie Quote
Carlos Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) I know I'm not a psychologist but suspect you've either lost the plot or are trying too hard. We've been here before haven't we, folk having a breakdown online, I fucking love it. In this case, the "victim" wasn't one really. Obtaining someone's clinical records isn't funny, broadcasting that is fucking outrageous. It's not Candid Camera. Edited December 7, 2012 by Carlos Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Even wankers who like this 'outrageous' and 'anything goes' broadcasting bollocks pioneered by the likes of Howard Stern and Chris Evans, Moyles etc. Would they even find this funny? It wasn't even funny to begin with and I, like most others on here, couldn't give a shiny shite either way regarding The Royals. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 It's like Diddles' evil twin, in fact I'm sure it's Diddles' alter-ego/sock puppet... Quote

Obtaining someone's clinical records isn't funny, broadcasting that is fucking outragious. It's not Candid Camera. Spot on Carlos. I love wind up calls,I even listen to The Wrong Show on Rock f.m on a Sunday, bloke does loads on there, they are brillliant. But this lot took it too far trying to push the boundaries. They hacked the phone lines of a private hospital and hoodwinked a nurse in to giving out medical records, whats funny about that?? Telling her theres a monkey on the roof cutting the phone lines with a pair of snips I could understand...but this prank wasnt even a prank was it.it was just an experiment of how much information they could get on a member of the Royal Family. Oh how they must of laughed at that. Quote
