MalcolmW Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I've seen a photo of the final, which was held at "Old Trafford, near Manchester" The final was on a Saturday at Crystal Palace (not Selhurst!) 0-0. Replay 4 days later at OT 1-0. The next day they beat Middlesbrough 1-0 in a league match. On the following Saturday they lost at PNE. The Middlesbrough match was due on cup final day, and had to be played in that week as the seaon finished at the end of April. No competitive football was played in May to August in that era. In April 1911 Bradford City played 8 league games (6 at home) plus the 2 finals. Quote

Sheff Wednesday that were entered for this draw whose fair play record was second to Man utd.
