Always been signs with Alonso and that he is a big confidence player. Fulham away in the cup run couple of years back showed that. He put in a crucial challenge on about 20 mins and really grew into the game that day. Shame he never got a run of games until now, be it through injury or Coyle not backing him start of this season.
