A 10 page thread full of grown men complaining about some shops. Fucking unbelievable.

You've missed the point completely Cheese. Its the lack of shops they are moaning about.

Besides which Cheese, this is a forum on which we discuss things pertinent to Bolton Wanderers, Bolton town, anything else, usually in that order.

If it was 29 pages of general consensus of opinion that Bolton is shit, has always been shit and that The Trafford Centre, Bury, Middlebrook are cracking - good riddance (to town) etc. you could guarantee bellend here would be on posting how everyone should be ashamed, traitors to their hometown, no civic pride and the rest.

He's a contrarian and, unlike DIddles, who was at least occasionally amusing (if unintentionally so) has no redeeming features whatsoever.

I get the distinct impression that I'm not well liked around here.

Well, at least you get a +1 for that, the most sensible thing you've every posted on here.

Is Uncle Dave's DW store off the Town Hall Square new, just round the corner from Ashleys? I hadn't noticed it before.

Whether it's new or not you've got Newcastle and Wigan's chairmen making money in the Town Hall Square and there's not even a Bolton club shop within 6 miles.Disgusting.

They own sports stores, Bolton Wanderers own a football club (which is less than 6 miles).

Whopper!

Bwfc have a shop in JD don't they?

If they do, that'd be a profile thing more than a massive profit making exercise.

I don't think the poster quite understands it. Or they do and they're a massive whopper.

Aye. 3 chav emporiums, a dozen pawn brokers, 10 charity shops & Crazy Georges.

It's rocking in down town Bolton.

You missed out the numerous 'bakers/confectioners' (used in the loosest possible terms) - including a Greggs in the now 'high-end retail only' Market Place, and quite physically separate from it's much vaunted 'food court'.

I'm of the opinion this decline is being deliberately allowed, something is definitely afoot...

It's not all doom and gloom - Iceland has opened a store on Manny Road. Prawn ring anyone?
